How can a budget be agreed with potential new owners, it's as Rich says, we are a fair bit away from a takeover and players won't be getting signed for fees unless that's dealt with first.0 -

When does pre season start ? Thats the key date. Doubt many of the top players signing for league one clubs will happen much before then. Agents and players will be holding out for better offers until they can’t hold out any longer. The exception might be with Wrexham who are I think likely to skew the wages on offer and might sign players who are targets for teams like us. I’d be surprised if May doesn’t end up at Wrexham.0

Exactly - it’s ludicrous. Unless Holden is operating under the fact that even if we do get taken over, the budget will be the same as it is under TS wanting to sell, ie - a crap one, which doesn’t bode well even if we are taken over.Braziliance said:

On another note, I keep seeing stuff on Twitter highlighting how weak the division is this season. It’s irrelevant as we are just as weak and very much fit in it given our squad, takeover or no takeover. We need quality, a decent amount of it and we need it early. Anything else and we’ll all be crying about the same old crap in a few months5 -
Rumours that Benzema is going to Saudi champions Al Ittihad on a €200 million contract for two seasons.
The noise is also getting louder around Messi going to Al Hilal for a quite ridiculous €400 million PER YEAR.
We need to hurry up and get our takeover done before we miss out.1 -
