For your car to be parked all day and be there waiting for you when you get back in the early hours of the next morning? £3 is more than reasonable.Elthamaddick said:
£3 to park at the Valley....what a piss takeclive said:15 -
I tho may be wrong but I the EA was being sarcastic and having a laugh1

If you know the area re parking you have no need to pay 3 pounds in the club car park.BrentfordAddick said:How much do you think it should be? Perhaps a tenner would be fair. If you make it free everyone asks for a space 'just in case' and half remain unused. If you can afford a trip up north you can afford three quid.
There is free parking at the top of Harvey Gardens and as far as the club shop0 -
Cheers, Clive. Booked onto the Bromley coach but I'm not loving these departure times. I know we play it safe but 20 hours before kick off?!clive said:

im booked on coach one, assume pick up times will be the same?0

I'm hoping someone doesn't know their AMs from their PMs. If not, I think I'd sooner walk it.se9addick said:

I think if you book a space it should be free, if you are getting a coach from there why would you book and then not use it??BrentfordAddick said:How much do you think it should be? It's not the amount, it just seems any excuse to make a few quid - absolutely no need to charge for that.
I think the coach is pricey at £30 personally, but then I'm getting the train0 -
Or it could be to help manage how many spaces are available (if bought in advance) and avoid last minute panic of people finding parking elsewhere.Elthamaddick said:

Here's what will happen, four blokes in one car, three of them will book a space if it's free. Any event I've ever done, making a small charge weeds out the people who just want free stuff at no consideration to others. As has been said, plenty of parking in the area so it's not compulsory, just an option, a service that you can take up or not. There are things to get angry about re CAFC but this is something they have done well on.

I think the club should use the valley car park as a ‘London commuters station car park’ every non match day.
No point it sitting empty when it is next to a train station that has you into Central London in 20 mins. Surely an easy way to bring in some income.3 -
not disputing that, just feels like the club using any excuse to nick a few more quidvalleynick66 said:

£3 to park in a secure car park for the best part of a day feels fair.1

What we reckon, 2k make general?0

Even if true they ‘profit’ marginally from it so what ? It’s not a mandatory spend that fans can’t avoid.Elthamaddick said:

I think the coach is pricey at £30 personally, but then I'm getting the trainI suspect they will have extra costs for stewards etc that this will partially contribute towards.I’d give the benefit of the doubt on this one.0 -
Will it still be 2 tickets per person in general sale?0

Haven’t seen anything official, but do we know if the tickets are actually available to pick up yet? We got our 15 this morning, but online, so no confirmation that they’re actually ready.
Edit: loathe to call the ticket office just yet as I am sure they’ve enough on their hands at the moment.0 -
So is that 3.7k sold before reaching the season ticket holders phase today?Reckon there’ll be at least another 1500 gone today between this morning’s phase and this afternoon’s phase?Plus another 500 tomorrow morning once it’s opened up to those with a hundred points… would leave about 1500 for general sale tomorrow afternoon?2

Not for the first time I have no idea what you are going on about.Dave2l said:United fans talking during pre match warm up
"Charlton?? Tbf I can't remember our last encounter with them? I think we may have stuffed them 4-0 at old Trafford when they got relegated but not sure what year that was?"
his friend pauses for a second
"You cannot accept the truth can you. You still cannot talk about it!?"
He proceeds to write "John Robinson", "Shaun barlett" on a scrap piece of paper, hands it to him, storms off and drives home
Why are you referring to our 3-3 draw with them in 2000, when you are also talking about the last time they played us?
😂 It's not a serious post. Fair enough if you don't get it or if you took it seriously but I'm sure a chill pill will help1 -
was just thinking the same, surely in this day and age Utd haven't physically got to send tickets down?TelMc32 said:Haven’t seen anything official, but do we know if the tickets are actually available to pick up yet? That’s the way online ticketing works ! What were you expecting ?Elthamaddick said:sorted, had the tickets in my basket and went straight through5 -
so no coaches on any of the Valley Express routes. Very poor.0

given that it was before my allotted time I could book, I wasn't expecting the system to allow me to do it, but to have to start again after 11 and re-input what I requiredDucktapeshoerepairs said:
