Good news, makes sense, although personally I thought Meantime lager was overpriced & not to my taste. But that's my personal taste, just as I dislike most craft lagers.
A few years late, should be partnering with companies like this when they first come on to the scene and are making a name for themselves, but at least we've partnered with them now. Looking forward to a Charlton inspired beer, perhaps a nice red ale called Red Red Robin?
I’m sure the ale enthusiasts will report on any drink served at more or less than 0.2 degrees of the optimum temperature, poured at an incorrect angle, in the wrong glass or if the head is a couple of mm too big or small.
It is good news. It's not cask conditioned so will be more viable than their attempt at selling real ale in the fan's bar. Just hope it's not ridiculously priced, as Meantime beers are normally a bit more expensive.
Great news. Absolutely right that we support small up and coming local businesses. I look forward to receiving a single sheet of paper when I next visit The Valley explaining why we are going to start playing in Tokyo, the bus routes to get there, and a comment on how good the pitch is.
A little background for anyone who is interested. Meantime actually first started over the road from the valley on Penhall Road. Alistair who founded Meantime was and still is a big Charlton fan to this day, like many many other staff at the brewery who have been and gone through the years, so always a proper addicks spirit running through the building.
Glad this deal finally got over the line. Will drastically improve beer choice on match days.
That's nice! A Danish-American owned football club located in a country where basically everyone has ancestry that came from somewhere else in the world has tied up a deal with a Japanese-owned brewery. It’s what made Britain Great

Seriously - Its a step in the right direction and responds to feedback I guess.
He even poured the pint……….or so he said 😜🍺
This and the University tie up are good for the club and I hope we can do more.
