    Ive been able to England's games seeing as I'm back home. Pretty boring predictable tippy tappy nonesense. Hope they improve before the World Cup.

    There has been, as far as I can recollect a direct correlation between the English national team and Charlton being shit.  My age and mood may deceive me here, but it is quite spooky!

    Foden on for Bowen @ HT... Glad that he's had a chance as he deserved it based on his West Ham performances

    But he's not showing enough at the moment, when he should be against this level of opposition.

    Think we’ve done well off the back of some hard graft and a fair share of luck. 

    Due to the timing of  these games we’re seeing a lot of the team operating below 100%. It’s exposing our complete lack of versatility.

    Southgate gets one more crack at Qatar, but after that I’d be excited to see these players under a new manager. 

    Quite who that would be, I don’t know. The only name that really excites me is Graham Potter at the moment.

    Please can we drop the two pacey wingers. Much rather see us play with two creative inside forwards (grealish and Foden) with overlapping full backs

    Never been convinced by Southgate as England manager, I feel the team has succeeded in recent tournaments in spite of him. Being super critical you could argue we had an easy path to the World Cup semi in 2018, and being mostly at home in Euro 2020 gave us an edge that we otherwise wouldn't have had, so he's had a lot go in his favour. 

    Id welcome a change after the World Cup.

    Football is going backwards in terms of competitions & entertainment.
