Have lost a considerable chunk of my ITK avenues / sources over the last year so don't think i'll be featuring much in this window on the ITKometer. However, a lot of these sources tend to come and go - i was probably never more connected with the first team going ons than in the early Curbs days and then when Chris Powell was in charge. What i've never claimed to know is what these players we're linked with or sign are actually like and ever since we signed Reeves (who was descirbed as an absolute baller / magician on here), i tend to ignore most opinions until i've seen them play. I'm reasonably optimistic about what i've seen so far this window but still a lot to be done with the squad to be serious about promotion i reckon. If we secure Cat 1 academy status this year, it will be a significant step forward for the club - probably more so than promotion even in the long run and will also be key to what happens after this season if we don't go up - personally, i think TS would then be serious about trying to recoup his money and may even get it if we get the CAT 1 or A or whatever it is. I think you add that to the reputation our academy already has, the location its in and thats bordering on a unique selling point. It doesn't surprise me at all that TS has invested so much into it.
There is zero chance Sandgaard gets anything close to his money back unless we get to the Premier League. Category 1 is unlikely to add too much value. It’s great on paper but any new owner would be required to spend a certain amount on the academy too to retain it. It’s nowhere near as important as being promoted IMO
Position-wise, makes sense, more depth at RB with him & Egbo given Matthews and Gunter thankfully both left, and also at LB if him & one other come in.
Scouring the Plymouth forums they seem to think he did and ok and were hoping he would re-sign this summer as well
Pleased we are getting the bodies in early. No idea on the quality of the signings so will have to wait for the season to start.
Looked back at the team sheet from Sheffield Wednesday on opening day. I made it 16 professionals (Purrington & Gilbey were injured) on the books. Seems we will start the season with close to a full squad numbers wise.
22, didn't set the world alight at Plymouth so in Fulham's eyes is this a move to develop a promising youngster or a chance to offload a fringe player we don't think is going to make it down the the Cottage?
Might actually suit us better if it is the latter.
Certainly we need defenders who can play on the left.
What is his contract situation and Where's his video?

Just signed an extension with Fulham, primarily a right-back but imaging we're signing him to play either as needed.

So he signed a deal in December 2018, which expired this summer

Just signed a new contract so likely the former, they at least think he's good enough to be worth a fee.
Maybe preparing fir The Championship next season....

Perhaps but only a one year extension???
Anyway, can worry about signing him next summer, or even January, if he's good for us.
Sounds a really sensible option if he can really play both sides comfortably. With that one year extension it's possibly his big chance now to impress Fulham too so he should certainly be up for it.

But Fulham have the option of a further 12-months

He only joined them on loan on the 31st January though - so was only there 3 months.

Plymouth were flying high and he had to be patient but once he broke into the side, he was a regular.
