  • Pathetic non challenge from Gilbey
  • Had to leave after 70mins. Sat with kids in family stand and had enough biting my lip!  Moronic team selection, moronic not to change at half time. Players utterly uninterested.

Out thought, out fought, out played.

    Pathetic.
  • Embarrassing from Gilbey, half hearted attempt at a block. Gave Brannagan that option inside very easily.
  • In my opinion, todays best decision was mine not to go.

So when we look crap in the first half it’s because of the formation but when we look crap in the second half, it’s the players.

Maybe it’s just the players no matter how you shuffle the pack.
    Who picks them?

    Who bought them?
The bloke picking them is picking the best of a bad bunch.

The recruitment is a discussion for another day. I agree it’s grim.
No, I don't think he has today. Three centre backs on the bench and we've lined up with a left back and a centre mid in a back three. Can't square that
How does that square with the fact that we’ve changed formation and looked no better?

Our best period of this game was the first fifteen minutes when playing with those players.
So you are in favour to keep the defensive setup that has secured us 2 clean sheets in the last 13 matches?

But are writing off changing the formation because we conceded when chasing the game?
Made up stats that will become accepted as fact don’t help.

    Fleetwood
    Plymouth
    Cambridge
    Ipswich
    Sunderland
    Doncaster

All in clean sheets under Jacko.
Its not made up at all. Here's our last 13 matches, goals conceded:

    Oxford - 4 (so far)
    Wigan - 2
    Bolton - 2
    Wimbledon - 2
    Portsmouth - 1
    Hartlepool - 2
    Fleetwood - 0
    Cheltenham - 1
    Crewe - 2
    Norwich - 1
    MK Dons - 0
    Wycombe - 1
    Plymouth - 1

    Woeful. Absolutely woeful.

    And its getting worse.

Looking forward to the usual "lowest point" comments in the post match thread.
I'm not even going to bother reading the post match thread.

It'll be the same posters venting the same bile. All 25 pages of it.

Almost five as Winnall tries to latch on the end of a Sykes cross but the goalkeeper gets there first

That goal alone was worth the entrance money….shame it was Oxford, but we won’t see one of them from out lot in a month of Saturday’s….☹️
  • Deserves the sack for that alone. You looked like you didn’t give a shit Jacko. Your body language was a disgrace
    ??
  • Great goal but embarrassing the amount of touches Oxford had in the build up, we were static spectators
  • Anyone want a Sheff wed ticket?

Ohhhh so you’re including cup games and conveniently cutting off the stat just before we had three clean sheets in a row.
  • Remember when someone said Gilbey was one of the classiest midfielders in rhe league? Well, that is what a classy midfielder does (and doesn't) do
  • Tyreece Campbell gets his debut

  • It’s the worse it’s ever been
    make no mistake
    they can all fuck off
    Utter shit
  • Tyreece Campbell gets his debut
    Stupid decision
  • Glad we’re encouraging all these people to come to games with freebies!!

  • Any goals we have in the side are injured, the rest are missers.
  • it says something when the youngest player on pitch has more guts, skill and determination than the rest of them

Yes, I said last 13 matches. And 1 of those cup games was 1 of our clean sheets!

    I genuinely hate Oxford.
    Time wasting at 0-0
    Time wasting at 0-1
    Time wasting at 0-2
    Time wasting at 0-3 etc
    Cynical. Genuinely pathetic.
Yeah, we were rubbish, but there’s no joy in football like that.

I remember when people were saying that Gilbey (along with Dobbo and Fraser) would be the "best midfield in the league" 😂
