Sean Clare sums up this team perfectly. A player never good enough to play above league one. Doesn’t care, can’t pass forward, can’t defend. Pony in every single way.
Extremely harsh. Wrong, even. Although he has lost form recently
Not wrong in the slightest. If you think he can ever play above league one, in-fact, be in a top 6 league one team, then you can’t have seen him enough. Woeful player, despite the odd ‘ok’ performance. Accepting this drivel is not acceptable anymore.
Don't agree. On a number of occasions he has been the only positive in some of the dreadful performances put out by this team this season.
That doesn’t make him a good player.
Keeping people like him in the team next season will lead us no where. Not anywhere near good enough for a team who want to be promoted.
So when we look crap in the first half it’s because of the formation but when we look crap in the second half, it’s the players.
Maybe it’s just the players no matter how you shuffle the pack.
Who picks them?
Who bought them?
The bloke picking them is picking the best of a bad bunch.
The recruitment is a discussion for another day. I agree it’s grim.
No, I don't think he has today. Three centre backs on the bench and we've lined up with a left back and a centre mid in a back three. Can't square that
How does that square with the fact that we’ve changed formation and looked no better?
Our best period of this game was the first fifteen minutes when playing with those players.
So you are in favour to keep the defensive setup that has secured us 2 clean sheets in the last 13 matches?
But are writing off changing the formation because we conceded when chasing the game?
Made up stats that will become accepted as fact don’t help.
Why don't Brownie give it a rest with the constant love affair with the opposition, this week it is Oxford sick of hearing how wonderful they are at time wasting or whatever it is, don't need to hear it ffs

If he had better players around him his contributions would pay off. He plays the ball forward and what passes for a front line just lose it.

352 is still the only play we can play but with actual centre backs on the pitch .
Not true at all. Lets not forget the clean sheet run we went on with these 2 centre backs we currently have on the pitch in a back 4 during Bowyer's time. Innis and Famewo is a bloody good centre back pairing.

Corner, Oxford United. Conceded by Adam Matthews.
Winnall looks to be in behind and is fouled by Famewo who is shown a yellow card
0-4
At least we are winning on cards.
0-2 in 37 minutes with a back four.
Checkmate atheists.
Great finish though.
