This is really good news. Would like to see Campbell, Adigun and Dobson extensions follow.
Think you'll probably be disappointed about Campbell or Dobson. No inside info at all just a gut feeling
Certainly the case if the rumours in both are true. If Jones is successful and we start to win plus if Jones likes Campbell I would hope he could persuade him to give us another year or two though.
Miles to me is the contract priority. By the summer he'll have just one year left, which will significantly reduce his value.
And if you are to get someone to sign a new deal, surely when they're injured is the perfect time. A vote of confidence in the injured player, as well as looking after our long term interests.
As has been mentioned, Kanu would be better having Leaburn as the Central striker and Daniel can play to the right or left of him but not stuck on the the wing. It worked well in the 18's and 21's and he still scored in the box. Alfie May is still our main man but Kanu is learning with energy and will continue to improve his first touch.
Would be great if Leaburn was here next season but his career has been stop, start so far, not helped by the Part time CB in the first 'friendly' of this season. Miles working with Jones will be good to see.
I see Scott is still around, not sacked as some thought after he wasn't mentioned in the Jones announcement. Wishful thinking.
Excellent news, a real prospect. Wish he had a Leaburn or another big centre forward to play off, Daniel is a 2nd striker not a number 9.
Let's hope that now the window is closed Scott can focus on getting more academy and current players signed to longer deals.
The thing that’s impressed me the most about DK this season is his newfound strength and ability to play the role of hold up.
Long term I don’t think that becoming an out and out number 9 should be his main focus but it’s very exciting to see just how quickly he was able to add that string to his bow after looking like a feather would brush him off the ball 12 months ago.
Remember him coming on against Cambridge away last year thinking he was a fair bit off it, has become a really important impact player when called upon this season. The only way is up for him I hope 👍🏼
Very good news and what an eloquent interview. He came across extremely well and seems exceptionly proud of what he's achieved, showed he's ambitios and seems intelligent and hard-working as well.
Let's hope he adds thise assists and goals he's promised us!

I wonder where Campbell thinks he’s going to go
can see him getting a move to a decent L2 team / bottom half L1 team who play wingers. Probably wouldn’t be a guaranteed starter but he’ll be under less pressure. Think in the right environment there’s a real player in there
Great news always feels like he’s in the game when he plays and with a few goals to his name too can certainly make an impact. Hopefully DK can help contribute between now and the rest of the season.
Worth a punt but I don’t see him as a future Chamipionship player if that’s where we’re hopefully aiming in the next few years. Can’t see him being more than a squad member if we’re making a push for promotion next season .

Yes I agree. We can’t just perceive ourselves as a 352 team - it’s not going well, let’s be honest.

He’s only 19, some might laugh but I think he has the potential to offer more in the Championship than May. He's definitely not there yet but if he keeps developing as he has done and scores goals he has a chance. He competes physically in a way he couldn’t last season and could still be growing.
If we get there I could see May struggling like BWP did - he’s a poacher but not strong, quick or skilful enough to really scare Championship defenders.

Surprised at that. I think he's a very good prospect based on his progress this season.
Pleased with that, well done Daniel, with hopefully the better signed players & the ones to come will now give him the opportunity & help to progress further in his career,oh & not forgetting the proper manager also…👍
