Yes. Or other side for Matthews depending on which side you want to go more attacking but also Castillo is another option.

Think it depends who we're up against. Sky showed a graphic during the match yesterday of Portsmouth attacks and nearly half were on their left / our right so I can understand why he played Matthews if that's something that happens in their games a lot.

Isn't Romeo, their right wingback on loan from Millwall, a right back by trade. I did notice they have been playing Recco at left wing back but Hume is more of a fullback?

We have Lavelle AND Matthews who can play there (Clare's role), these diagrams are such nonsense as they ignore that players can play more than one role. Clare himself is probably Dobson's second, although part of me wants to see Lee repurposed like his dad at Newcastle...

Lee has energy, is combative and has passing range. Who's to say he can't play DM if he retrains for it?

Nobody would have thought Rob Lee could be a Prem-class DM when he was flying down the wing for us, but that's what he was for about 5 seasons at Newcastle

What do you suggest we do send him on a few courses? A day off once a week to go to college?
Its almost as bad as when people say he should "work on his passing" what the fuck do they think he does all week, play tennis?
