That should have been 5 or 6 goals for us as we dominated., having said that we could easily have drawn and probably would have done a short while ago. The reaction to the 2nd goal probably tells its own story from the players perspective. Jacko has earned all the praise he is getting.

The Hoover: 8 Ipswich were never getting through him, he cleaned up most of their forays forward and then had the skill and vision to pick out the attacking pass. Class player. WTF were you doing Adkins?!
Lee: 6 The only Charlton player to have a "stinker" (relatively speaking) but still laid on the pass for Gilbey's goal. Needs to bring his shooting boots on matchdays though.
Super Purry Animal: 7.5 Loving his work down the left - defensively sound and dangerous up front. Could easily get to double-figures for goals this season.
Stockers: 7.5 Plenty of good work, followed up Washy's run and shot to bag the first goal. Lets himself down by the arm-waving and stroppiness if a pass or cross goes astray.
Washy: 8 He does the running so that you don't have to. Tireless. Shame he doesn't have the goals his play warrants.
Referee: 7.5 Not bad yesterday. Seemed to favour us with the 50:50s but he was probably fed up with the kiddie temper tantrums from Ipswich players when they didn't get their own way. Even gave Stockers a free-kick when the centre-back was pulling his shirt - must the first one of those this season.
