Stockley: 9 a much more industrious and skillful display. Good goal Washington: 10 absolute class of a player, how does any defender live with him when he plays like that? Deserved his goal Dobson: 8 protected the back 3 very well, and kept it simple ticking us over. Outstanding player, so pleased we own such a good young DM Lee: 7 quiet by standards, but got in to great position, final call let him down a few times, great little player. Purrington: 6.5 actually thought he was below standard tonight, gave the ball away a few times, and caught out a few times, Famewo coming to the rescue. But also got himself in to great positions again, unlucky not to score. He has set his standard so high, Stockley: 8.5 lead the line so well, classy one touch hold up play allows space for Lee and Gilbey to get past him, our performance was so much better because he was in the team, and now getting in to right place and the right time to score. Washington: 8.5 worked his socks off, stretching the game, creating chances for others, deserved a goal himself. Really playing well.
The Ref - I thought we had a lot go our way, which makes a change.. I would make him 8 as a Charlton fan, but pretty sure an Ipswich fans would be 4

Washington: 8 - Never confident 1 v 1 but his runs are superbly timed and he creates so much space. Referee: 7.5 - Liked the way he let the shoulder to shoulder stuff go, although I did think he favoured Charlton a tiny bit.
