If billings were to get out without adding anymore runs, he would have the 8th best average (15) out of the 16 batsmen used this series. England are beyond pathetic this series
When Woakes walks off 225no, the Aussies will regret all these drops
u ok hun?
If Jason Gillespie can get a test double hundred…..
It's probably easier to score a double hundred if you have Pointing, Hussey and Clarke following you in the batting order than Wood, Robinson and Broad.
We are genuinely lame and pathetic a lack of care for their wickets I mean broad was like a scared child there (again) weak weak weak England test cricket and Charlton my two favourite things in tandem are a complete bunch of shit lame loser cnuts fuck off

Rain delays has meant the match is behind on scheduled overs. I believe there were 83 bowled today - give 4 for 2 changes of innings that makes 87. Given there was supposed to be 98 oves bowled today then that's 11 overs "lost" for ever. Game won't go the full 5 days so in case probably doesn't matter - but it did last Test.
And my big point is.......this match is being played under lights so there is no issue with "bad light". Go figure.
(Yes I know players can't play for hours & hours and local rules in Hobart might mean that play has to stop before midnight and the floodlights turned off because Mrs Jones at no4 wants to go to sleep, blah blah blah....)

You're right that the over rates are abysmal and it's an issue that urgently and seriously needs to be addressed.
But I don't think anyone that bought tickets for today's play would say they felt short-changed.
Billings .. great start but he just could not get fully out of one day mode .. when will he and rest ever learn f f s
For us it's easy to say and think that. Issue Billings has is that he's been playing nothing but white ball since he played a County Championship game back in September. For the last month he's been playing T20 in the Big Bash and come straight from that to playing in a Test match. He'll be telling himself to play within himself but it's not easy to remember that when you're facing a bouncer at 90mph with 0.4 of a second to make a decision and you're "muscle memory" tells you to take it on. Not trying to excuse him but I think we can probably cut him a bit of slack. If he keeps doing it then that's another issue.
Billings has kept well and his feet movement, enthusiasm and general glovework has been excellent - everything that Buttler's wasn't. He genuinely wants to be there and is very grateful for the opportunity which can be more than half the battle.
