They've got this massive thing about their game plan being how many balls they can hit for 4s and 6s. So they end up preserving wickets for the last 5 overs. Trouble is they dot up along the way (biggest percentage of any team) and then find that the pitch isn't conducive for going big late on anyway.

True, that haven't adapted to conditions and have failed to keep the score moving, but I still want better surfaces than this for T20 games.

I do think that there is an element of it being in the heads of the teams batting first. The commentators might not major on the stats but their analysts/captains/players know full well what the implications of losing the toss are. The team that can overcome that will deserve to win.
Big big wicket. If the last ball of the 19th goes for a boundary then Bangladesh would have been favrouties needing single figures from the last over. As it stands they need 13, big ask with new man facing the first ball of the over (I believe, unless they didn't cross whilst it was in the air, I'm following the text commentary)

Had any other player than Holder with his height than no one else might have caught it
How much/what sort of cricket is played in Afghanistan? The images of the terrain that I've seen, doesn't look conducive to a game of cricket.
There is a superb documentary on the BBC called "Afghan Cricket Club - Out of the Ashes" as to how cricket in Afghanistan came about. Conditions were absolutely primitive and the guy who started cricket there put down a concrete area originally for bowlers to pitch the ball and batsmen to stand. It developed from there as a sport that united the nation
I think Pakistan are by way the best team in this competition. That's not to say that in a one-off game England couldn't beat them. But for me they are odds on favourite for this competition.

Pooran & Holder combined - 55 off 27
The Rest - 73 off 93
Frankly, there was so much poor cricket in this game, neither team deserved to win!

Absolutely brilliant to watch.
