I thought he did ok and looked to get forward and cross whenever he could.
Same for me, he did ok.
Couple of sloppy moments but i guess that can be expected due to his rustiness. I think he'll prove to be a decent signing, at least he can get up and down the wing.
Looks half decent, but seemed as if the players didn’t want to pass to him/didn’t want to drive forward using him!
5 across the back stopped his game IMO, as we were just happy to pass it across the back and with the lack of LM/LW souare didn’t have much help on the wings
Start him next week. We know Gunter will never be the answer on either side even though he’ll have a few good games here and there. Gunter has an optional 3rd year, we really don’t want to be forced to extend it like we seem to have done with Watson.
If anything, next week I’d like to see Gunter on the right (with Souare left) just to see if he can give us a different kind of performance on his favoured side.
Well, Callum, you got your wish at Wycombe yesterday!
Thought he did ok too, BUT he has a bit of the Johnny Williams about him, throwing himself into tackles/situations very bravely, most of the time with his legs flailing like a Ragdoll. That level of ‘all in’ attitude looks like a bit of an accident waiting to happen in a match. 🤞🏻

Johnny Williams throwing himself into tackles bravely?
Really, how long does it take our coaches to get players fit. They only get 4 weeks when they come back in July after having 3 months off.
Souare hadn't played for over a year, so it's no surprise he will need a bit of time to get up to full match fitness. Him and Purrington are decent enough to play every other game for the time being anyway. We had no proper left back for ages, but it's the least of our worries now.
I was dubious about this when he signed. A massive error, not bringing in a decent attacking LB, whether permanent or on loan such as Maatsen or Da Silva
Another one of those players that I've completely forgotten about. He actually played more than I had remembered, but not after the end of December 21, where he was joined in the stands by the even more obscure left back Juan Castillo!
Feel for the bloke re: that accident. The fact that he’s gone up there proves a willingness to play and do what he can to keep his career going. Good luck to him. It’s bleak for Morecombe if they’ve signed him and lost to us 4-1

Sure you don't mean Johnny Robinson?
Ditto Purrington
