  • Very interesting debate on FNF with Parish and Brighton Chief Exec
  • Typical Brighton performance so far.
All the possession, all the chances, just can’t put one away.
  • Ref and VAR got both decisions right
  • Get the ref over to the screen quickly and you end up with the correct decision most of the time.
    Will Hughes had Brighton lad in headlock;
Penalty but gross attempt from Albion.
I was shouting goal but Trossard  had his foot up when he could have got his head to the ball first ;two correct decisions.

  • Of course.
  • Oh Connor,you really are a very naughty boy🙄
  • Done nothing all game. Jammy club!
  • Was always going to happen. Wankers.
  • I should know better than to watch anymore Palace games. Completely outplayed and still winning.

  • Thank fuck for other clubs bringing me some minuscule amounts of football joy cos our continued wankshop of football doesn’t stop producing utter shit .
  • Lucky point for the nigels there
  • Thought the ref was excellent, which is a nice relief from what we’ve seen lately.
  • I will literally never ever ever understand how a ref can blow on the exact minute of “minimum” stoppage time. The ball was dead for 30seconds with Butland taking a free kick. By the ref blows on exactly 94mins.
Am I missing something someone can educate me on?

The whole thing is a different sport to what we endure !

Someone invested £90M into Palace in the summer and they spent big.  But without loanee Gallagher's goals they would not be that far off the bottom few teams.

Its Palace syndrome... Somehow the jammy bastards always find a way to wriggle out of a difficult situation

Cracking goal from De Bruyne. Great run and finish, but also what a superb ball from Cancelo to put him through. Terrific stuff.

Tuchel’s “angry toddler” histrionics on the sideline of every match are really bizarre. He’s clearly a talented manager, but I can’t help but think his sideline behaviour undermines whatever good work he does in the cold light of day. Twice today he went absolutely apeshit at Malang Sarr, but as the camera switched to Sarr, he looked like he was saying “wtf are you talking about?” I do wonder how positively top (or indeed, any) players respond to that style of management.

Weirdly, and I think I’ve said this before, his sideline antics put me in mind of Guy Luzon. 😳

Agreed. I’m certainly of the mindset that Man City are the lesser of three evils. At least for now.

Absolute f'ing joke.  Presumably they are forfeiting and awarding Spurs a 3-0 win then.
  • Premier League effectively done on January 15
  • Rafa Benitez must be living on borrowed time?

Just a few weeks ago it was looking like an amazing 3 way title race.
    Middle of January, all over.

    Blame the rules.

They've only got one out due to Covid.
They knew all along anout AFCON.
Ok, they've got a few injuries but we've got Sonny, Ronero and Dier out with 2-3 playing through knocks.

They should be forced to play it.
They always seem to get an extra rest day when.they play us and the one time it works in out favour, they go crying to the PL.  They made us play through Lasagnagate FFS.

What makes it even worse is that they would have apparently had enough senior players to play the game but this week they chose to loan out Balogun which leaves them 1 player short of the minimum number required to play the game. So it's their own fault.
