Ringside will be expensive but i expect most seats will be England international price. They probably want a visual of a large crowd rather than to make a large profit that night.

The capacity for boxing is about 90k.
I think Wembley has a limit in how many full capacity events it can host a year, hence Spurs not getting the whole ground for every game. Guessing AEW won't be one of them!

I don't think AEW would sell 90k tickets if they gave them away. Let alone at England international prices.
The WWE could have sold out the O2 at double the price they charged, which was already a lot.
So it's apples and oranges, but I would be surprised if they even try and sell 90k. The other thing is this will be the second stadium show, inside a year, after 30 years without one. The more regular they become the less "can't afford to miss it" plays into it.

That's a decent stipulation for a PPV match, it was the main event of Dynamite with a week of build up? They also had Omega V the AAA champion El Hijo Del Vikingo as a Dynamite main event recently with about a week's build up as well.
What are they leaving for Wembley? Guess they can bring in some British talent like ZSJ and Osprey and MJF hardly wrestles on TV so plenty of choice for him but it all seems pretty short term.

Osprey is wrestling in a hall in North London the day after MITB and that hadn't sold out last time I looked. The Doncaster show he is headlining hasn't sold out, it's not at the keepmoat either.
The booking was stupid for Del Vikingo, absolutely zero build up other than its a dream match. To anyone that thought that was a dream match already watches AEW. They never actually explained who he was.

I agree with the above, but in Osprey's defence him v Kenny would be a draw for the small % of people who watch NJPW in the UK and would get decent PPV figures (by AEW standards) in the states as FTR V The Gunn with those stips could've.

I think Dave said that about 150k watch Dynamite on ITV. That's significantly more than watch NJPW in the UK.
Him v Kenny would be massive draw for people that know who they both are. It will be interesting if they try and sell out Wembley on the back of the AEW 'originals' and AAA and NJPW talent or use the ex WWE guys who people actually know who they are. It's a fine balance between passing off your core audience and actually trying to get a new one.
I don’t think NJPW / indie presence is enough to add significant numbers to the Wembley attendance. I’d assume most people who follow wrestling outside of WWE in this country would plan to be at the event regardless, considering the novelty of it.
I don’t even think a CM Punk level presence would change the number drastically, though it would of course make for a hotter build.
Best chance they have is making the tickets so cheap that people can easily drag their mates, kids etc along to pad it out

Loads of UK promotions have tried fairly decent size halls with former WWE talent to failure. The only promotion that I can think of that's done well was ICW when they pushed domestic talent and had Drew but they slipped when they tried to do the large Hydro arena pushed with US talent.
Dynamite got 67k last week. The EFL highlight show 180k. Getting 40k or so will need Some great marketing.
They will move it to the arena because MJF gets death threats 😉
For context all the EFL goals have been on Sky before the highlights shows is on. 67k is still more than NJPW gets in the US though.
I am coming to the conclusion that most people that watch wrestling don't actually like wrestling, it's the sizzle, not the steak, that's popular. Else JCP would have put Vince out if business 35 years ago.
