    Could have been worse.

  • Rumble predictions?

    men’s event is STACKED!
  • Dang that ladder match went HARD. Still not entirely sure that Owens wasn't genuinely injured at the end there, that was brutal.

Absolutely insane. Might be one of the matches of the year already and most brutal ladder matches I've seen in WWE.

If anyone says wrestling is fake, show them that. Absolutely ridiculous.

Hope Owens is OK, genuinely looked like a nasty bump
  • Think we are slowly seeing Rhodes progress into that heel now.

I'm expecting Punk to win the rumble which will set up Punk vs Rhodes to main event Mania which will put over Rhodes more as a heel.

I would like to see Rock enter and screw Roman. Might be wishful thinking though. But would set up a Rock Roman showdown at Mania nicely.

  • I don't think any of us would've predicted that.  A left field choice.

    I like it

He was 16/1 at 1AM in the betting market. Genuinely thought it was a mistake he won when watching live.

I actually like it in reflection. Up there with WM30 and the streak finishing.
  • When they got to the last 6, I was ready for the fodder to be chucked out (him and number 30) and for the stories to unfold.

Elimination chamber is going to be very interesting now
  • That was a great show, the whole card. Glad the women don't need too many divas to fill the card now. Only thing i didn't like was the influencers involvement.

When it came to the last 3 i did think this is going to be predictable!

So many stories going into 'mania. Jimmy main eventing doesn't seem right!
  • I saw that I Show Speed plum getting flattened on Twitter 😄😄

One of the biggest pops of the night was Bron spearing him into next year
  • Biggest pop was Alexis Bliss' return!

Let's hope Bliss returning kicks life back into the Wyatt Sicks

Jey Uso main eventing Wrestlemania is on par with the Miz for me. For what the Miz lacked in charisma to be a main eventer though, at least he could wrestle a bit.

Jey Uso is so sluggish and unexciting as a wrestler.

Has a decent look, OK mic skills and one of the best entrances in modern wrestling, but it stops there.

I like that it wasn't predictable but Jey Uso main eventing mania? Really not sure.
  • Saying that though, I never liked Reigns, and was annoyed when he won the 2015 rumble.

Now I throw a 1 up when his music kicks in, so you never know 😂

Other than the Rumble finish, thought it was a very decent ppv.

I quite liked Speed being involved, didn't feel too forced, he took two decent bumps, especially the spear and didn't overdo much.

Glad they didn't overdo it and include Kai Cenat and have them face off or something like that.

  • I'm just hoping it's a nice redemption story for him and they have a plan, more than "his entrance is super over, let's put him in the main event"

I hope that angle has finished.

Going to be hard for him to look like a threat after losing to Gunther clean. I think there will be a schmoz. VKM won the '99 Rumble and didn't main event.

Rey Mysterio also won the rumble and didn't main event.

Undertaker won the rumble in 07' and didn't main event with Batista.

John Cena won the rumble in 2013 but the main event at Mania was Reigns vs Taker.

So it wouldn't be the first time and there are probably other examples.

I think the difference is here, they keep emphasising how it is for the main event and how it's main event Jey Uso.
  • That said, recently they've been referring to night one of wrestlemania as 'main eventing Wrestlemania'

I can see that being the night 1 main event. Makes more sense.
  • Definitely up there with World War 3 1998 for me.

Cena's win in 2013 he went on to main event against the rock for twice in a lifetime where he won the title

By main event i meant get a world title shot. Gets weird when there are two world titles. 😕 i'm in the let's where this goes camp rather than shitting on it ftr. Very interesting times!

The winner of that wasn't a major shock. 😉

Yeah I got mixed up with 2017 somehow where Orton won and didn't main event Mania 33

Yeah it's odd but it won't be the first or last time they do it.

If I was a betting man I'd deffo say Jey for WM night 1 main event and I think he beats Gunther potentially.

I'm also not that against Jey winning, there's other stuff I'd rather see but he has a lot of potential. My main issue with Jey is he doesn't have the look like Reigns for example. He just doesn't look like a believable champ.
