Match Thread: Charlton Athletic v Fleetwood Town | Tuesday 3rd November 2020

Tonight we've got Joey Barton's Fleetwood Town, a tough experienced side who are on a bit of a run themselves, 3 wins on the spin and clean sheets to boot.

We won't have Famewo (inj) but Watson and Inniss return.

The team will be posted once it's announced.

You can't say Bows does not surprise you with his team selections. Was not expecting that line up.

Purrington left CB inside Maatsen I presume, with Gunter back out on the right, outside Innis

Or is it Amos; Gunter, Innis, Purrington, Maatsen; Morgan, Watson, Pratley; Shinnie; Washington, Bogle?

Hmmm. Not sure about that line up. Morgan comes in from the cold & William's is rested. Ffs......just pick your best 11 & deal with any substitutions later !!

A somewhat attacking bench once again to be unleashed in the last 20 minutes

I’m guessing a diamond with Purrington CB, Maatsen LB. Watson shielding the defence, Albie in the free role behind Washington and Bogle.

Could be many different options though. Maatsen pushes further forward with Pratley at CB? Washington and Morgan on the wings in a front three with Bogle?

Weird team, but Bow isn’t helped by injuries and he normally gets it right anyway. Big game for Morgan, fancy him to score today. Our constant rotation, although understandable is a bit frustrating. Two of our best players can’t seem to play two games in a row (Aneke and Williams). Even though they never even play 90 minutes anyway!

Can't  remember having that feeling of "that's a nifty subs bench" for a while, there is a few who can come on and change the game. COYR

Get the impression this will be a tough game. They’ve got a pretty decent side. Surprised with the inclusion of Purrington - Inniss is going to have his work cut out tonight.
