The response to restarting our sponsorship programme with the club has been simply overwhelming.
As a recap, between 2008/09 to 2014/15 seasons, our forum members have been chipping in to try and support the club by taking out kit sponsorships of players. In those years we managed to take out 34 kit sponsorships, trying to support a balance of established first players (like Solly, Jackson and Morrison) and youngsters on the fringe and breaking through (like Shelvey, Gomez and Jenkinson). But we all collectively put the brakes on it when the fans and the club's hierarchy started going in different directions.
We came close to restarting again in January under the ESI lot (thank god we didn't), but we are delighted that now under, what we desperately hope will be new stable ownership, that we can show our support and backing in this additional way once again. Particularly at a time when clubs are suffering so much hardship.
So i'm delighted to say an amazing 142 of us have very kindly chipped in this year. This has allowed us to take out a (new) record 9 kit sponsorships. This is across 5 players from the first team squad, and for the first time, 1 from the CAFC Women's team. We have always supported Trust initiatives like the Upbeats, and i'm delighted we are now able to help other aspects of the CAFC family.
We try and choose a mix of players who don’t already have any sponsor against them. So the hot shot superstars that will be striving to greatness this season are...

For this year, an enormous thanks to the following Lifers for making this possible (and for taking me about an hour last night to type all their names out!). They'll sadly be no sponsors dinner to draw for this season, but we will still be doing the draw for the players shirts later in the year.
