    Don't be filthy !
  • Reach out.
  • I was going to do a deep dive of this thread but I have instead decided, after some blue sky thinking, to take a helicopter view.
  • Lets put our heads together and brainstorm!!
  • Just waiting for the funds to be released
  • Let's double down on that
  • I am seeing a lot pivoting at the moment.

    'Across the piece'.
  • We'll wait for approval before we make any statements
  • It's a paradigm shift...
  • The complete misuse and misunderstanding of the the word “strategic”.
  • When you 'reach your targets'.
  • As a starter for 10.
We should go after the low hanging fruits.
    Make sure we are aligned.
I would really appreciate your feed-in.

Let me run this past you.

My reply is usually something like "Wasting your time, pal - I'm 63 and gave up running a long time ago".
So he can run it past you with impunity then 😄 you old f*****!

    (I’m 65 btw).

This is a huge one. I've had more than one manager tell me that in order to progress I need to think more strategically,  when in fact the only 'strategic thinking' they ever did was thinking about how to crowbar the word 'strategic' into every other sentence.

I usually say to managers "in order to progress you need to think".

I stop it there, no need to add 'more strategically'.

  • Low hanging fruit
  • We need some 'blue sky thinking'........
