    Phillips: 7.5 - need to see the goal again, couldn't tell if he spilled it
    Matthews: 7.5 - Solid as ever though he is vulnerable to a winger cutting inside 
    Lockyer: 7 - Good
    Pearce: 5 - Just awful on the ball. Sarr needs to start on Saturday. We can't build from the back with Pearce out there. Should have done better for their goal, didn't cut it out.
    Doughty: 7 - Some good moments and bad but the run and ball for the goal 
    McGeady: 7 - Much better second half and unlucky not to score
    Cuillen: 6 - Not his day
    Field: 7.5 - Should start every game in place of Pratley. 
    Williams: 6.5 - Assist to the assist maker and better in the second half
    Bonne: 6.5 - Not scoring twice from inside the six yard box might get us releageted. Largely anonymous.
    Hemed: 6.5 - Held up play well but we couldn't get the ball to his feet and Bonne didn't read his knock ons. Feel for him, he's clearly a better player than he's shown for us. Bags of talent. We just can't get him service.

    Phillips: 7 - Great penalty save, poor parry for their goal
    Matthews: 7 - Created some good attacking outlets, but goal came down his wing.
    Lockyer: 7 - Good battle against Jutkiewicz, and a couple of key tackles and blocks
    Pearce: 7 - Solid performance, but was often left with no option but to hoof it forward
    Doughty: 7 - Hard to mark, struggled to hold his position early and got caught out a couple of times, but going forward was an incredible outlet and created Bonne's goal
    McGeady: 7 - Best I've seen him play in a Charlton shirt, so close to sealing a win
    Cullen: 6 - Was committed as always, but tired as the game went on, and gave away the penalty.
    Field: 7 - Worked hard and helped boss the midfield before he was taken off and Bellingham came on
    Williams: 7 - His pass created the goal, didn't have many other chances to show his ability.
    Bonne: 6 - Took his goal, but could hardly miss, thwarted by the keeper second time around when he should have scored.
    Hemed: 6 - Held the ball up well
    Aneke: 8 - Came on and did very well with little to work off other than long balls, caused their defence real problems and created what should have been a second goal
    Referee: 5 - Was really fussy about ridiculous things

    Phillips:     9 penalty save and all round game was very good
    Matthews: 7 second half better than first
    Lockyer:    6 in wars but struggled against big guy
    Pearce:     5.5 most of the game seemed to be our quarterback starting our play not his game

    Referee:    0 I thought it was my bias but then I saw bowyers reaction to one of his decisions shocking homer. I thought he and his linesmen must have money on brum to win

    I thought the ref was fair up until the last 10 when he started giving them all the marginals. Obviously he is not biased, and it is subtle not obvious but I do notice refs do this occasionally. Not just involving us.

    Phillips: 7.5 - good save for the pen and one blinding save from a shot that went through a crowd of players 
    Matthews: 6.5 got caught out a few times defensively. 
    Lockyer: 7 - took on their big bloke up front. was in a battle. 
    Pearce: 6.5 - solid but not sure why he had to have the ball as much as he did. need to move it into the midfield quicker. 
    Doughty: 7 - set up the goal and did some good work on the wing. 
    McGeady: 6.5 - shame he hit the post. we need to give him the ball more often.
    Cuillen: 5 - lost possession a few times. as others have said probably his worse game for us. committed as always. 
    Field: 7.5
    Williams: 6.5 - be a bit better if he stayed on his feet but i guess he was fouled alot. 
    Bonne: 5 - scored at least. should of got another one. his hold up play is very average. 
    Hemed: 5 - not much service. him and Bonne dont seem to have any understanding of each others game. 
    Aneke: 6.5 - great run from him. held the ball up better than the other forwards.
