3 pancakes for me today. 1 ham and cheese, another with ham, cheese and pineapple and the last one with the classic sugar and lemon. For the savoury ones I put tonnes of maple syrup on to make it sweet and less like an omelette. Surprisingly nice.
Don't knock it till you've tried it. I thought it was weird when I first had it in Holland but with maple syrup it is good. Still prefer just lemon and sugar mind.
Wasn't there someone on here who used to eat about 42?
I got challenged by a woman at a pancake party many years ago. She gave up at fifteen but to her credit they where stuffed ones. I reckon that’s about the same as 30/40 normal ones. I then had about six more.
I made a mix of Leek, mushroom, ham, marscapone, feta, spinach (whatever veg was in the fridge at the time) roll it up in 2 (homemade) pancakes each grate cheese on top and pop in oven. A bit like a Enchillada/Cannelloni.
Still have batter left but was too full so will have sweet tonight after dinner, probably with banana, blueberry, nutella and ice cream, and any other sweet things I can find in the cupboard (coconut flakes, mini meringue, sauce)

I’m finally lost for words.
Four very thin pancakes for brunch made by Lady Irving

1 traditional lemon and sugar
1 maraschino cherry and ice cream
1 orange and cinnamon (very christmassy)

Move on to the first sweet one - mixed berries topped with Ben & Jerrys Chocolate fudge brownie ice cream.
Finish with the traditional lemon and sugar.
Delightful. And enough batter left for another Lemon and sugar one for desert tonight.
