Shaky as fuck for 10 minutes. Weathered the storm, cleared the hangover of two successive defeats, and, as we’ve seen a few times with Bowyer’s teams, just got more and more assured as the game went on. Had chances to make it 2 but poor touches and passes at key moments let us down. Was always going to be a backs to the wall defence for the last 10 without a second but boy does this team love a battle.

Every Charlton player put in a top shift today and that's all we can ask for. Similar to the Brentford game in so many ways, even down to the injury time goal saving block by Sam Field. Another fiver well-spent and now looking forward to being at the Derby match.
