  • Cardiff 4-2 Birmingham
  • Whatever the result at the scum next week we’ll be above them in the table woohoo
  • Leeds & WBA will be in the top 6. All other places are up for grabs. A win and we are back in the top 6.
  • What was Ward sent off for, for Cardiff and will he be banned against us now? Straight red?

    Foul. Yes but may appeal

Currently 11th but if we win tomorrow and we go 5th. Win by four or more and we jump above Preston to 4th.
  • A number of the teams below us winning today, the league is closing up. Huddersfield for example are just 9 points from the playoffs
  • A big IF, but if we are to win tomorrow and against Millwall, we’d likely go into the international break in 4th.

A lot of teams either near one another in the league, or on good runs of form are playing each other next weekend.

Two wins puts us in a very strong position. On the other hand, a win for Preston tomorrow puts them top.. This league is madness.

Any side in the top half at the moment, put a run of 3 or 4 wins together and suddenly you’ll be looking like an automatic promotion contender.
  • Nothing in this league a good run and we’re up gonna be right up there in a promotion race
a bad run (well it’ll be injuries , suspensions , bad refs and the whole world against us ) and it’s a relegation battle

Technically we are in the middle of option B. right now, you could argue that had Taylor been fit for the recent games that wed either currently be top or looking to go top after Sunday's game.

    Just watching highlights on Quest.

Leeds (in white) v QPR in light blue, that looks very much like white from a distance.

And 4 points above a relegation spot thanks to the 3 points they picked up today...
  • Five points separate Millwall in 15th (we're 11th) and Fulham in sixth

Mental League, where anyone can beat anyone... almost
  • Boro 2-0 up against Hull at half time but down to 10 men.
  • 9 points from 2nd bottom , if Boro don’t lose
    11 points from 2nd top
    6 points from play offs
  • 9 points from 2nd bottom , if Boro don’t lose
    11 points from 2nd top
    6 points from play offs
With the players we have out and all things considered, take that all day long.

    100% agree.
Just so thankful we have had a really really decent start.
Still very confident we will be just fine.
Just please please Uncle Roland give Bowyer that decent contract he graciously deserves.

    2-2 now.
  • Just watched the last 10 minutes or so of boro/Hull.

I wonder what Dijksteel is making of his move now? OK his bank balance will now look great but playing football in a team that is really struggling in an empty stadium on a freezing cold day can't be great.

Can't help but feel this was the wrong move for him at this time.

A good result for us. Hull stay below us in the table, Boro miss out on a desperately needed 3 points and Luton drop into the bottom 3
  • Plummeted to 17th now just 7 points above the relegation zone. A lot of you need to drink more coffee to wake up to reality.

Seven points to sixth as well... we are bang in mid table. Do not panic.

Take a gander at the League table......especially at the goal difference.

Only 2 teams out of the top 10 have positive goal difference.  Cardiff in 11th......and us. Everyone else from 12th to 24th have a negative gd. I know QPR got hammered tonight but they are on -9. We have only lost by more than the odd goal once this season.
  • Just seen the QPR score. Preston getting thumped too is a surprise
  • 11 teams and 7 points from 6th

5 teams and 7 points from the relegation zone

    Mid table is 12th-13th
Middle of playoffs to relegation is 14th

    we are 17th

  • Still the same number of points though ain’t it?
  • We are not mid table !!
    17th is not mid table
