  • The football gods have been good to us this weekend now we have to capitalise on this good fortune.
  • Hull tie it up again 2-2
  • Hull are starting to show some fight . What’s the betting they will get a winner .
  • And West Brom answer back up 3-2

3-2 Spoke to soon ! I’ll take that goal
  • When I said Brom would get 4 more, I didn't mean in a 5-4 victory ffs
  • Out of interest does anybody know when the 20/21 season would start?.
  • Grosicki as well just to add salt in the wound.

Lots of talk of it being first week of September.

6 weeks after the 'normal' season finishes, and around 4 weeks after play-offs.

It would mean around 5 or 6 more midweek games next season.

Short time off then it's not like they have need more time than that.
  • Our result aside, realistically this weekend couldn't have gone better.
  • Boing, boing, boing.

Would look so much better if we had held on for a point against the Scum.
Every point is going to be crucial come the end.
  • Other than our result the only one we would change this weekend if we picked the ideal set of results would have been Huddersfields point v Preston.

Transfer market is going to be chaos over those weeks.

6 weeks isn't very long to build a squad and get them used to playing together.

It's another important reason why we ideally need to get a couple of wins asap so we can't start planning for next season.

Yes the transfer market will be crazy hopefully we can get ours done early to give new players time to fit in.
  • We'll get ours done in the week before it starts.

  • It would be so much easier if all of the five clubs below us lost all their last five games, then we could play relaxing football without the stress  :)
  • Everyone in the same situation with the transfer market and lots and lots of players out of contract will likely mean that due to the virus, and the ramifications it will cause in the market of football, you could potentially see deals being done quite late saving clubs from spending any more money on wages than they have to.

Going to be a very interesting 2 months, that’s for sure.
  • Will be weird for Rotherham and Coventry who've come up to the Championship. By the time next season starts they'll have gone almost 6 months without a competitive game.
  • FT WBA 4-2
  • Very happy with today’s results no more than 2 goals lost please ⚽️⚽️
  • Hull lose, bootiful.

Well those 3 points for us at lunchtime looking even more important now. Have to admit I'm not feeling too confident about how things will be looking this time next week though
Don’t worry, it’s in our own hands. What could possibly go wrong?.....
    Millwall.
    On Sky.
    Need I say more?
Well I was right about Millwall on Sky, but luckily the other results largely went our way, so it could've been a lot, lot worse. Bristol City losing their manager could have a bit of an impact though, as their next three games are Hull, Middlesbrough and Stoke.
