First time since the re-start that the bottom teams all lose. Obviously Stoke didn't but I'm not worried about them. Just concerned about keeping Luton & Barnsley below us with a decent points gap. Maybe Hull too but I can't really see Wigan getting a stay of execution.
We just need to avoid a heavy defeat on Tuesday (no more than 2 or 3 max) and then try to pick up points against Reading, Birmingham & Wigan.
Bows could be right - 50 or 51 points might do it.
3-0, 4-0 and 5-0. That Millwall result makes us look like Barcelona now. We don't score enough but at least our rearguard has been looking good since we came back.
Late winner for Cardiff keeps Millwall 5 points outside the play offs seems to have gone largely unnoticed on here. That and Palace taking a beating rounds off a great day for us.
We can’t rely on Wigan’s points deduction - who knows if they’ll take it back. Have to stay above three of Luton / Barnsley / Boro / Hull / Hudders / Stoke.

As Barnsley and Luton play each other on Tuesday that gap could close right up, we really need them to draw

I can assure you it didn’t here but you know that , the same telly I was swearing at last night I was swearing at again for joyous reasons when I saw the Bluebirds goal go in , that was my afternoon match of choice, good luck Neil Harris !
Run ins of those behind us plus Wigan and Wednesday whom I have assumed for these purposes both get -12 point deductions. In this scenario I reckon we need one more win. Barnsley a tough run in and Luton and Wigan 6 and 8 behind us respectively.
Points behind us and GD compared to us below also.
I think we’re safe if Wigan get a 12 point deduction. Would prefer not to stay up that way though if we finish 22nd.
Sorry, i have little sympathy & thems the rules. I bet Wigan weren't concerned that we had a transfer embargo during January & couldn't bring any players in.......that then impacted on us as we were playing kids & recalling players back from Bromley.

Haha fuck that I'd take us finishing 23rd and Both Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday given hefty points deductions and them relegated instead if it came to it! They are dirty cheating bastards and the sooner the EFL take a stand and relegate teams for flouting the rules the better. In fact I'd love to see them make an example of them similar to Saracens in the rugby, with automatic relegation for teams breaking the rules, clubs will soon buck their ideas up
