Just caved in to the little man and got us seats in the Jimmy Seed.
No print at home/scan from home for that stand though so let’s just assume we’ll miss the first 10-minutes because of Rolunds horrendous understaffing and general shitness5 -
Thank god ive got my season ticket and didnt have to go through all this12

It will be @26,500.
Is that enough to be more than Crystal Palarse’s largest gate this season; and
more than Sunderland v Pompey in the play off match ?
bragging rights is everything .7 -
I thought @golfaddick said with such authority that they would never segregate the Jimmy Seed stand. Mmmmm. I guess we can’t always be right.2

At the moment 25,000 sold?.1

No print at home/scan from home for that stand though so let’s just assume we’ll miss the first 10-minutes because of Rolunds horrendous understaffing and general shitness1,000 seats in blocks D,E,F,K and L will become available in The Valley's south stand, which is usually exclusively reserved for visiting supporters.
Once those tickets are sold, it will mean that well over 24,000 Addicks will pack out the stands at Friday’s big game. The remaining seats in the previously-closed block of the West Stand were due to go on sale on Monday, but were snapped up by internal sales, including family and friends of playing and coaching staff, leading to the decision being made to open up the Jimmy Seed Stand to home supporters for the first time since 2012.
Jimmy Seed stand tickets will not be able to be printed at home or sent via the post and must be collected from the Valley's Ticket Office which will reopen at 9am on Wednesday morning. If tickets remain, they will also be available to purchase in person from the Ticket Office.
Click here to get your hands on the last few remaining tickets from 5pm on Tuesday.
Supporters who are attending Friday evening's match are reminded to leave plenty of time to enter the ground due to the higher-than-usual attendance and are also urged to avoid bringing bags, if possible, to ease security checks upon entrance.
East Stand ticket holders should be aware that there will be no entrance available via Landsdowne Mews and must enter the ground via the East Stand Harvey Gardens turnstiles.
The Landsdowne Mews entrance will be reserved for home fans in the Jimmy Seed Stand.

Why have the club stopped giving out official numbers, we used to get a 5pm update each day?0

It may not be the last time - but deffo was for Stevenage. I think it was the game where BWP broke his scoring duck.3 -

So essentially the club handled this well. An effective near sell out with supply gradually managed to create demand. A functioning online ticket system with communication messages encouraging everyone to check their fan ID / login before tickets on sale and regular updates throughout. A few incentives to buy tickets thrown in. Unanticipated segregation in the JS stand.
For any relatively minor faults within this process they must reasonably be judged as acceptable in the grand scheme of things.
Well done one to all concerned I say.
Sure there will be some issues on the night getting everyone in on time but what a pleasant problem to have.27 -

Charlton and Doncaster Rovers supporters thinking of attending the EFL play-off 2nd leg match on Friday night, please note that the match is all ticket so you can not buy tickets on the turnstiles. @CAFCofficial @drfc_official #Addicks
Doncaster Rovers supporters heading to The Valley on Friday for the play-off 2nd leg match please note that there are no away pubs near the ground. The closest pubs are in Greenwich or London Bridge. Turnstiles open at 1815hrs. Have a safe journey down. @drfc_official

Bloody hell. I was so wrong in my expectations for this crowd. It's bewildering how different it is to last year. Amazing that after 5 years of Roland we can still get a crowd out. It gives me hope for the future.
Please just sell the club and begone.25 -
