  • Águilas Doradas in Columbia had to start a game yesterday with 7 players due to a Covid outbreak.  The 7 included 2 goalkeepers, one playing outfield.

The score at half time was 0-0.
After 70 mins, they went 4-0 down, immediately one of their players picked up an injury (funny that), so the game had to be abandoned given they had 6 players, and now it'll be awarded as a 3-0.
  • Before their win v Southampton, West Brom's last five home Premier League wins came under five different managers.

Antoine Griezmann has become a father for the third time.

All of his children were born on the same day:

    8th April 2016
    8th April 2019
    8th April 2021
    Is his birthday 8th July?
Don't be daft, that's the 'special' hole day.

Coventry have scored more goals (37) than Birmingham (31)
  • The point about more teams in Europe is very interesting actually, USSR, Yugoslavia, Germany, Czechoslovakia. Whilst teams like Gibraltar have gained international status.
Germany makes one less team - what used to be West and East is now just the one.

Always think that we moan about the same big teams always winning the league, but then before this season, we had 5 different winners in 8 years, and at the same time Bayern, Celtic and Juve won their respective titles every single year.

Yeah the only fault with the Premier League of late is the fact that this year and last year havent been overly competitive, we might be getting different winners each year rather than one constant team, but need a bit more competition right until the end

True, the Rodgers/Suarez year when City won it, and the Man City 98/Liverpool 97 year were the only close ones in those 8 years I think.

Jose is one sacking away from £100 million in "fuck off" money.
Now you realise why all the Big 6 need more money.  Half of them to pay this guy off and the others for equally useless chancers.
You do realise this "useless chancer" is Chelsea's most successful manager ever?
  • Grimsby have played over 500 more league games than Spurs.
  • Tottenham Hotspur’s are in the super league?

Hull City can get promoted back to the Championship if results go their way tonight

Since 2000 there have only been two years when more than one relegated club from the Championship has bounced back the following year; 2008-09 was one of those occasions, 2017-18 when Wigan and Blackburn went up automatically the other.

1995 was the last time Charlton and Sunderland were in the same divison (with promotion) and one of them didn't get promoted.

Sunderland did well that year then considering they only beat the drop by 4-pts in 94/95

Yeah went from 54-pts to 83-pts winning the title... Didnt realise that Peter Reid was their Manager for so long before '98

Although that 95/96 was my first proper year where I started to realise that even Charlton existed as remember going out with my parents for the day yet sat in the car listening to the Play-Off game @ Selhurst Park
