Looks like they may have not be allowed any fans into the ground for their game against Plymouth with the Safety Advisory Group serving a zero-capacity notice
So once again, a club needs funds to pay the players wages (hence why they went on strike in the first place) yet wont be able to through one of their incomes
Can any argyle fans with children who have made the trip to Macclesfield tonight get in touch with me, as me and my staff and the players have a special treat for you ?!💚
I am aware of press releases which suggest that tomorrow's game against Plymouth Argyle has been postponed.
I would like to state that we have never asked the EFL to play the game behind closed doors and as far as I am are concerned, the game will be played as scheduled.
For clarification, the unequivocal and categorical information that we have received from the @EFL is that tomorrow's scheduled @SkyBetLeagueTwo at @thesilkmen is OFF.
And will remain off.

Macclesfields last update was at 9PM at Plymouths at 9.30PM
Ok so its gone 13.30 and Macclesfield still have not put on twitter or their club website a statement saying the game is off, in fact the last update on their site is the one from 9pm stating the game is on.
Any additional action by the English Football League to try to help save Bury FC "would not have made any difference to the eventual outcome", an independent review has concluded. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51665766
If/when the Coronavirus causes fans to reduce match attendance, or even worse, forces some matches to be played in front of empty stadiums, small clubs who rely mostly on matchday turnover.... could more fragile clubs find themselves in a terminal decline?
Even more amazingly Oldham have nearly completed a new stand (looking at yesterday's game).
The empty stand isn't a newly built one about to be opened, it actually opened 5 years ago but is currently bizarrely closed due to a safety issue
A crazy situation, especially as it's the best stand in the ground and commercially the most important - imagine The Valley with the West Stand with all its lounges and hospitality areas shut?
Any poor teams in League 1 could get really lucky this season, lack of players and points deductions for Bolton and Bury mean chances are only 2 other teams will go down
So have they not been given another 6 points deduction for failing to fulfill their last fixture of last season...??
Jeez, do you slow down for car crashes?
Golfie is a speed demon. He never slows down unless absolutely necessary.
I was under the impression there would be no relegation from League Two. Points deduction seems liked a wasted punishment.
I think there will be relegation from League Two because Championship | League One clubs dont like the idea of no relegation from one league yet from others
Its baffling as the EFL is already missing a team so simply leave Stevenage in the Division and promote Barrow (if the National League agrees), its not bloody difficult

A points deduction would have been wasted on Southend anyway as they were all but relegated - making it suspended does them more harm to the club than an actual deduction. Perhaps that the reason for doing so.

Whats the point deduction for administration, Stevenage have been cast adrift recently could this save them from relegation

Southend have been given a suspended points deduction (just three points) and a fine of £7,500 for late payment of wages
Surely that sort of money would be better spent on actual wages at the moment? - Especially for a club of their size
I wonder when this late payment occurred.
You'd have thought that the sensible option would be a suspended fine too, especially in the current climate
Its baffling as the EFL is already missing a team so simply leave Stevenage in the Division and promote Barrow (if the National League agrees), its not bloody difficult
Or just relegating Stevenage and promoting 1
Or did you mean to say promote two
There last points deduction I think 2 points were suspended
So that would be added to any further points deduction, and they would surely go below Stevenage
