    Exactly - £1m would get us 3-4 players on a decent enough wedge on loan. Less than no chance of Marquis happening and not massively bothered, I reckon he would end up as an Ajose mk2.

    Him and Oztumer decided to hitchhike together on their way to the training ground

    Only they got picked up by Stephen Kelly - The worst bit is the Chelsea lad has our only pen (after borrowing it to sign his loan agreement) so until we get that back we cant tie Lyle down to a new Contract

    Danny Welbeck is still available on a free. Could be a good partner for Lyle. 

    Only problem is it's rumoured he wants a £5m signing on fee! Perhaps we could pay it over 4 years.

    Me too. We need that ball winning midfielder as a priority, as Pratley won't be able to play week in week out. Williams and JFC can cover the Cullen role right now.

    I agree, done nothing the past 2/3 seasons and thinks he's worth a £5m signing on fee.

    Someone should offer to show these type of players the real world.

    If there’s a fee involved, it’s fake news.

    If the wages demand over 5k per week it’s fake news.

    So the 1m link to marquis you’ve seen on twitter and in the papers and the links to former prem/champ players who last season were on 30k a week, we get that they’d probably do a job and get in the side easily, but this is for rumours, not your wish list.

    How many more times do we need to hear from bowyer that we’re being laughed at for our budget, sorry for the doom and gloom.

    We are not signing a striker for £1m when we can't afford to bring in any decent midfielders. It is just beyond ridiculous that people even think it might happen.

    I've already judged him .. AND, he'd be no good for us .. we can't afford to sign a dud .. and Kermorgant came to us when we were already quite successful in the third strata, he developed into a 'legend' in a super team .. right now we are barely adequate, unfortunately nowhere near super .. Matty Taylor ? .. not for me

    Taylor, Kane, Gallagher, Oztumer are realistic, probable even. 

    We need another 2 on top, a pacy striker and a midfield behemoth
