Laughable. Lapslie Young Player of the Year, yet no mention of Bielik.3
-
Has to be Bielik surely!!!!!ForeverAddickted said:George Lapslie has won Young Player of the Year

I would have voted for him, and maybe did in some online something, just for what Bowyer says. He just seems like such a lovely bloke. And his football this season has been on another planet.ForeverAddickted said:
That said, can't argue with Taylor. He's been immense. Yesterday was a brilliant finish to a brilliant season. Another who seems like a thoroughly decent bloke off the pitch, but a right bastard on it.1 -
I agree, assuming Bielik and Cullen aren't eligible (both of whom are younger than Lapslie and Dijksteel). I don't know when votes are taken but it's really been in the last few games that Dijksteel has really grown into his own. He's our first choice RB with or without Solly as far as I'm concerned.cafc4life said:Personally think Dijksteel deserved that more

Cullen's older than any of them. Maybe just me but I don't see young player of the year as an award for a player we've signed on loan to play for the first team. Makes sense to me that it's one of our own young players who has made an impact in the first team and improved in the past year.SDAddick said:

Bloody hell Bielik is the youngest of that group??? I thought he was 23/24.He is going to be some player in a few years.10
-
I preferred him at CB earlier on in the season but he now looks very comfortable in midfield and we're a better team with him there. I'm sure there was something on here recently about Bowyer saying Bielik is now releasing the ball quicker, that's probably what bothered me. He's running with the ball when there's space rather trying to do it every time and running into trouble.Callumcafc said:Bloody hell Bielik is the youngest of that group??? Someone has posted on a fb group that they have been told Igor is out for 10-12 weeks0
-
Isnt Young Player of the Year usually reserved for someone who has JUST broken into the first team?
So realistically was only between Lapslie / Morgan / Dijksteel
Could be wrong with that being the requirements for the award2 -
Pinch of salt being taken...cantersaddick said:Someone has posted on a fb group that they have been told Igor is out for 10-12 weeks

Must admit I heard concerning stuff about Igor's injury from two different and well-connected sources yesterday.0
-
Well we played him for half a season with a knackered Achilles, surely he can manage three games with a torn quad?Weegie Addick said:Must admit I heard concerning stuff about Igor's injury from two different and well-connected sources yesterday.0 -
If the award was voted on now, I wonder if Morgan might have pipped LapslieScoham said:
