If you read the Rangers fans forums, Joe has been coming in for some pretty severe criticism (as have several others). Common view is that he was nailed on player of the season at Christmas but hasn’t swung a leg in anger since. He was particularly awful in last weeks crucial old form derby. Todays goal may be a step back to form. Cant really see him in the Premier league if I’m honest.
Terrific player. Has improved so much over the past two seasons. He is more than good enough for mid table PL sides and actually needs to go there IMO.
Looking forward to this, and intrigued to see how he does playing up front. Going to be bitter- sweet though, knowing that if it hadn’t been for RD we might have had him for the Championship season. Him and Gallagher together, that would have been something.
In 'the Athletic" the on line football magazine, all the Rangers players have a relation saying about their journey.
Joe's mum mentions God, the Kinetic academy, where Joe converted from a Centre back to a midfielder and spent 3 years, Staines where Aribo played his first men's football and Charlton Athletic were he became a goal scoring midfielder before arriving at Rangers and now because of injuries he is a false number 9. Quite a Journey and will Joe end up in the Premier?
Think he’s played 50+ matches this season for club and country which is pretty fantastic.
Kemar Roofe is fit, so Aribo unlikely to start upfront again, but he should be in the XI.
I’m a liar! Looks like Aribo is starting upfront for Rangers.
Blimey - this is his 65th game of the season! He never played more than 39 games for us in any one season - there again, when the side you're playing for gets knocked out of all the cups in the first round it does rather limit ones game time.
Dear oh dear, it’s poor so far. So many mistakes and loose passes.
Easily the best entertainment for me so far, is that Czech TV has dug up a clip of Rangers playing Dukla in 1981, and Dukla taking the lead thanks to a classic piece of Scottish goalkeeping

Hope he wins the final. Who knows, might score a winner.

Had a small amount on first goalscorer at 12/1.
