  • Might get a bit of a sympathy vote now.

She carried on well to be fair.

    On the other hand...

This is the expert vote so they cast their marks yesterday - Usually its this vote where we do well rather than the public vote

Looks like we're heading for Nul pwa.

Ridiculous; decent song and very good performance last night apparently.
  • Saved by Latvia.

Are we being bullied for brexit?
  • doubt it half the countries in this comp aren't even in the EU
  • We didn't get many votes before Brexit.
  • Do we get relegated if we finish in the bottom 3?
  • We didn't get many votes before Brexit.

I mean brexit hasn't happened yet so technically you're correct.

  • When did they start doing the bullshit at the end. Really ruins the excitement. Made it so obvious Israel would win. Should keep it to the public vote imo

That winning song is utter garbage.

Anyone got any spare needles in their eyes left?

  • Thank God I fell asleep. Just woke up to Bjork singing some shit for Israel.
  • We haven't scored well since the East European countries joined the contest.

Brexit will put an end to that, taking back control of the borders.
  • Yeah, Israel are going to win this.

    Was so obvious.

    That's gratitude for you

They don't announce the individual countries public votes because the same neighbour countries always vote for each other year after year - although nothing has changed in that respect as the voting public won't change their habits, they think it makes it look like less of a swizz if they do it this way just showing the judges votes and only giving the totals for public vote at the end.

Though, they were the counties who voted for us
  • Makes me glad we voted Brexit. Sod the rest of Europe, don't they know who WE are???

Not sure about that as the top U.K. Public vote went to Lithuania.

The jury votes are the ones that are politically based.

I mean have Greece/Cyprus ever given douze points to anybody else except each other. Ditto the Baltic states, the Scandinavian Countries, The Balkan block, Spain & Portugal etc, etc.

Who cares? It's a fun light hearted evening, which is far less depressing than the news that follows.

We'd do terribly whatever but ours was a very dull song.
