FA Cup tickets are now on sale. £7 adults, £5 over-65, £2 under-18. It was said at the start of the season that prices will be halved for women's ST holders, but I haven't tested this.

Kick-off confirmed at 2pm as usual.

As usual, please pick a seat in blocks C to F, leaving block G for the visitors.

I've tested it and yes it's half price, however if you allocate a ticket to another ST holder in the same transaction it comes up as full price

The good: Wales won for the first time in almost a year with Mia Ross playing the whole game.

The bad: They really need to sort out their team photos, because this is a disgrace.

It's a thing both the mens and womens teams have done for a while, I quite like it

It's a superstition thing, since Euro 2016, they deliberately stand in stupid/weird lineups and in unbalanced ways since they did it a couple of times accidentally and won those games

1-0 Addicks, great strike from Lobato. Keeper has to do better though, even if it did bounce just in front of her

Jesus. How Portsmouth have got back into this is beyond me. They’ve been utterly shite. Then we let in a goal direct from a corner. Ridiculous.

If you do not take your chances when so on top, more often than not you pay for it.
Charlton women dominate after going one up.

Portsmouth have had the better of the second half so far. Forced Charlton W back,  no  outlet in forward positions.

We've been awful on the ball. We keep overhitting passes or sending it into a sea of blue

With this wind the best thing the players can do is run with it, amazing they haven’t figured that out yet instead of sending wayward passes about the place

It could be because our lot not used to playing on artificial surface any more.

They play enough away games on 3G pitches, it shouldn't be a problem. Most of them have had 90 minutes to get used to it and haven't

Well, yeah. To a point. But whether it’s because of an artificial pitch or high winds, you have to adapt. They’ve been making the same mistakes all game.

    We were shit though.
Against a team near the bottom again. All our dropped points have been against struggling teams.

I'll take the 1-1 though, especially considering results elsewhere. The unbeaten run continues, only one game left to make it all of 2025

Absolutely terrible. Difficult conditions but Hills still can't figure out how to unpick godawful teams, we seem to just lower to their level. This time we at least got an early goal so a 1-0 win should have been a formality but then we conceded a daft goal. We've still gained a point on Birmingham, though Bristol City have caught up 2. As long as we keep miraculously beating the teams around us results like this won't matter but we could really do with a bit of quality in midfield and up front in January

The Forest game in a couple of weeks will be huge, because they're the team in fourth so currently the highest-placed side not in the mix for promotion. We're 8 points clear of them currently, and 5 clear of the team in the playoff slot.

    Just got back.

Agree with the other comments - we started well, Lucia Lobato doing brilliantly to step in and win the ball, take it forward and hit it low into the corner, and we were very much on top. Then one mistake from Elisha N'Dow gave them a corner which went straight in, and we never regained that dominance. The second half was painful to watch, as we could hardly string two passes together and created nothing until a goalmouth scramble from a corner right at the end. I get that the conditions were terrible, but we can't use that as an excuse.

I assume we only played Charlotte Newsham on the left because Gracie Pearse wasn't available, and we definitely won't get the best out of her or Jodie Hutton doing that. They linked up brilliantly at one point in the first half, but otherwise neither had anything close to their best game for us. On the plus side, I thought Gloria Siber did well at right-back, and Kiera Flannery had a good game in central midfield. But we still struggle to create chances, and if Karin Muya is on the end of them, as she was a couple times today, then her powderpuff shots are unlikely to seriously trouble any keeper. Likewise Amalie Thestrup - when she was through on goal early in the second half, I never had any confidence she could pull away from the defenders and get a clean shot away.

As Swindon_Addick says, the Forest game on 21 December is big. Let's hope playing a better team brings out the best in us, as it often has this season.
