He's not even guaranteed a place in the team - they would probably have to drop Haggett for him.
Although he has scored more in this game than a certain batsman has in his last 15 innings so perhaps Haggett shouldn't be the vulnerable one after all.
Stewart beat an 86 year old record for a Kent batsman batting at 10. Riviera can probably remember tell us who the player was that previously held that record.
Stewart is becoming a viable successor to Stevens.
He is yet to do it against Surrey for 10 years running.
Stewart has only been with us this season so I know that isn't the case!
My point is he won't replace Stevens until he is the serial bane of Surrey.
Stevens has got another 10 years left in him, surely?
Probably. And Blake seems to be the one taking on the mantle of annoying Surrey every time.
These players would be world class if they performed like that every week rather than just against Surrey!
I'll nibble.
We've a cup final on Saturday, suggesting our contribution to the RLODC has been consistent, including from Blake who is averaging 45 in the competition. Kuhn averaging 94 and Denly 80.
That said, we do seem to like beating you and as it's looking increasingly likely that we'll be joining you in the big boy league, we can do you over in even more games next season :-).
P.S you are a mate, but your Surrey allegiance makes me like you less. :-)

Guess who got him?
Podmore
Surely nothing can go wrong now......
I'd definitely open the bowling with him but my expectations of his success again with the ball tonight are conservative.

P.P.S Piss off

27-3
Middlesex require another 427 to beat Kent.
Almost as unrealistic, they need another 46 to beat G Stewart.
