"I did a lot of good things at Charlton without getting credit for it......"
Fails to actually specify any of these great deeds that she did.
She's not changed. Still giving sneaky interviews back home in which she waffles on about all the horrible abuse she got but fails to even vaguely touch on the litany of blunders that have put us where we are now.
She infuriates me.
They said on quest that Wednesday have lost 5 out of the last 6 I think. The championship is brutal and they’re a bigger club than us with more expectation. If they go down I expect the fans may turn on her if she is the face of the owner. When she left I was like f*** it, gone now, who really cares (emails and infatuation aside), but like Largo, how the hell does she keep getting really well paid jobs with a high profile, yet offer dick all in return. It baffles me
If you look at it objectively, you could say we were her first role, she’s young, inexperienced working for an utter tube. But I’m thinking now she’s at Wednesday and the fact they’re going backwards under what seems like another tube of an owner, she’s a joke. She’s obviously in it for herself and will always play the victim

What about that bit about Charlton fans threatening to throw her under a train?
Absolute rubbish. How would she be able to note the number from under the train?
Anyone with any sense would report that threat to the local constabulary. Now, was that incident reported?
If we tried really, really hard could we even think of one positive thing she did?
I've tried and I can't.
I suspect she would expect some credit for signing Johann Berg Gudmondsson but would conveniently forget that she also signed Polish Pete, Christophe Le Point, Roger Johnson (twice) etc.
She would also proudly point at the shiny new seats that they had installed during their first summer, and completely overlook the fact that:
- those seats are empty every week; - they overlooked a sofa; - you get a great view of the seats from Crossbars, the venue for her brilliant pre-match hard house session.
I shouldn't have read that interview, I'm in a bad mood now. I think I'll have to dig out the charred remains of my Katrien Meire voodoo doll and put it through the food blender when I get home.
Ugh, she's a truly useless individual. She might be very clever, but she'll never learn from her mistakes so she'll never actually succeed in her role. Even now her view is that Charlton fans are total insane animals, anything she did wrong was misinterpreted, and all her great works were ignored. Utter, utter bullshit. She carried out the wishes of Roland, who got running a club in England completely wrong from top to bottom. She was on a hiding to nothing with that role, but she made it so much worse by constantly saying stupid, inane and insulting shit and bristling immediately if policies were ever criticised. Even if we do her a favour and say that the 'I don't care about history' thing was mistranslated, I'll never forget the disdain in her voice when she went over the broken policy and said 'I don't know why I have to go over this again' at a bloody fans Q&A (the one where she made Jackson turn up to shield her, like a coward). Or the conference in Ireland where she said her plan was for us to be a feeder club where you might be lucky enough to watch 2034's England World Cup reserve right back appear aged 17. Or where she responded to protests by hiring heavies to assault fans while smirking out of the window. Or when she lied about interviewing candidates ahead of hiring a bloke that we all new Roland was already lining up - and then not sorting out his work permit properly in time. I'm not even remembering most of the stuff she said and did because the first examples that come to my head are enough.
She was naive and inexperienced, but instead of acknowledging that fact and trying to work with the fans she decided any criticism was down to fans being monsters instead of her own failings and tried to paint herself as a victim of sexism and racism in the media. She conveniently forgets that she got a fantastic reception at the start, right up until it became clear that Roland was dragging our club down to hell. She's less visible at Wednesday, wisely so, but they will turn on her pretty quickly if she repeats her antics there. The fact she still refuses to admit what a disaster she was is kind of saddening, if only because it shows what a dense individual she is.
Hmm, "A lot of good things"...sofa? Valiant and Robin? Kiddie flag walk? err, Gomez on a long contract? Heck, certainly not the last one. Nah. I don't think so Katrian. Just a Roland stooge in my eyes.
She did lay down some serious beats in crossbars. Those licks in the pocket man. You can tell by the delirious dancing from the packed audience
One of those surreal moments in charlton folklore, or would have been if it hadn’t been so fucking noisy and the thumping tuneless sound so totally inappropriate for the massed clientele that was in Crossbars. The scene should be copyrighted and sold to the highest bidder between BBC Comedy and ITV for worldwide distribution...you can imagine Harry Hill’s over-commentary for the DJ now...’nobody is dancing, it’s probably because they are all a bit old and must be deaf. I know, I’ll turn the sound up even louder’
I remember well when someone on a forum returned their season ticket in disgust at the way we were being ru, explaining exactly why. he recieved a reply in which she snidely implied he was making a mistake through ignorance, but that he would no doubt be back at the Valley when Roland's wisdom made the club successfull again. That little email, woven with both condescesion and a horribly misplaced pride sums her up for me. The idea of someone who thought the offside rule referred to the ball going 'off the side' lecturing the fans for not understanding how well the club was about to be runSide splitting (for Palace fans).

Pathetic
I should have posted, Wednesday fans are still not getting any quotes from our old friend.
The Squirrel Face magic works again!
Absolute waste of space.
I've tried and I can't.
They’ll probably get relegated in 22nd place with Millwall surviving on goal difference in 21st.

I don’t know, I loved the sofa idea.

And also, what??
2nd what: just me deriding Katriens lack of football knowlege.
Persuaded one taxi driver and his family to becomeCharlton fans (allegedly)
