Just 17 quid plus petrol/train fare/programme/burger etc to sit in the balls-aching cold to witness your beloved club being pulled apart at the seams by a mad old moron.
Have those poor kids been released from flag waving duty yet before they die of hyperthermia, or boredom, or both.
Hope the serving time at the East Stand bar has reduced from the average 87.5 minutes per customer. I am still waiting for my half pint of John Smiths ordered at half time during the Wigan game.
We have some fine young players in our squad, who on Saturday, will have the responsibility of getting our season back on track.hopefully, they will be here long after roland has gone.It is essential that the team is given all the support we can muster.it will be heart breaking for these lads to play in front of a nearly empty stadium, this is week when the support can really make all the difference.
Of course this is probably the busiest day for Xmas shopping and that together with the poor run of results plus all the injuries will affect the attendance - but like most on here I will be there.
Absolutely, yes it will be a weakened side, cold damp and maybe even a little miserable, but even with my dislike of him we'll be there, supporting the team.
Sod it, looks like just about everybody is going, anybody would think it was Christmas...Oi, Katrien, make sure those extra bars you had open for the Pompey game are open again for this game...

It's a nearly empty stadium every home game...
I wont be there, clashes with other commitments. But I'll be at Southend on Boxing Day
Then, after the win, it's the train to Woolwich Arsenal, change to the DLR, and Mrs D and Lucas will pick us up from City airport. We'll then drive to Suffolk for Christmas. What a plan!
I am now in a good mood, shortly to be spoiled by going on my first run for about five years.

YES, because like your old Auntie, you have to go and visit even thou it hard to stay up beat when her legs have gone and she keeps repeating the same tired old stories of days gone by. But; Like Charlton, she's Family.
This might be hard for some people to believe but Charlton’s current form has never, ever been a factor in my decision to go or not to go. Surely I can’t be the only one? Boycotts aside, it staggers me how many adults make the decision based on how the team is currently playing.

@Len\'s_little_girl is back so a shame to miss one of the few games we could go to but she isn't keen and I really don't feel up to the 70 mile round trip today if I don't have to do it.

Good news, Tommy (11yr old son) wants to come.

A greater question about my sanity if that I'm off to the Wigan match. I haven't had lower expectations about a match for years
