Dipped my toe into this world this morning, picking up Vechain at equivalent of $2.97. Been watching it for a bit, and had in my mind that if it dips below $3 would step in....so taken the plunge!

Left myself scope to add should it come off further to say $2.50 or $2, but happy to go with this for now as a first endeavour into this world with the intention of riding it out for probably at least five years.

Also, has anyone heard of FunfairCoin? Been mentioned to me by a few City people, seems it's related to the casino world. Currently trading in 3-4c range, so looks a cheap enough poke, but wondered if anyone on here knew anything?!

Anyway, think this is a really good thread in trying to shed some light on a difficult to understand world! Fingers crossed it goes the way we want it to!!

Looking at the trend line, I reckon Bitcoin goes down to 7,300 before we bounce back up... Gonna try to get into HPB at the bottom before they launch their testnet later this week, if it does 1mio tps as promised we could see a big bounce

I'm waiting for a definite point in which I feel I am willing to invest more - my original £50 is at £27 at the moment and I'm hoping that doesn't happen to the next £50.

But as people say, don't invest what you cannot afford to lose.

The mt gox scandal will effect the bitcoin price for a long time until it all gets sold off. At the moment it’s a dark cloud over it.

As soon as WAN drops between 2 and 3 I'll be jumping in and then I'm done for a year. Will leave me with a big holding in ZIL and WAN and smaller amounts picked up recently in NEO & ICX.

down 50% at the moment... Waiting for that to reach a turning point at first proper sight of one I'll chuck some more money at it, of course it could = a false dawn, but will wager on it being a solid increase.

About the time I put £50 into it. I shall take 1/5th of the blame and zero responsibility for any losses. @eaststandmike has offered to repay those.

Same, still more than the safest investments you can get or interest from the bank.

Does seem that this is the main issue at the moment. Think I read somewhere that next court hearing for it all is in September, so chance not much movement before then with ongoing debate about the fate of the remaining coins that emerged from the demise of Mt Gox.

IF (and there are surely other factors?!) this is the only thing keeping a lid on prices currently, then the next six months could be last chance to get in at some decent levels one would think?

It's why I got so annoyed when I went to get my new passport in Guangzhou, the British consulate accept visa and mastercard. UnionPay? Nope. Cash? Nope.

Probably cos bitcoin has had $10,000 wiped off it’s value.

Turn of the year Vechain was just above $1, at its height was $9.
