Dear old Daisy today

From the North Upper, it looked like her and Bernie were jumping up and down before the game like giggling schoolgirls. Added a sour note that she felt she needed to be involved in history at half time. Glad that they rushed through her intro, sounded a little muffled too compared to calling out the players names (although I thought the guy with the mike was a bit disrespectful to Jimmy Giles) and she didn’t say anything.

I jokingly said to you that with the larger than usual crowd she would say to Roland, I think I've turned this around, don't sell.
  • It was the ridiulous high heels on the pitch that got to me.

Paddy Powell would have never allowed those stilettos on his pitch.

Does Daisy have her hand on Keith's bum? ;)
Where is her left hand off to I'm wondering

Yes, I noticed them. I must confess to not quite realising it was Katrien at first as she was, how shall we say, rather fetching in the long stilettos and short skirt. Looks like she’s lost weight and glammed up. My carnal thoughts very quickly turned to hoping the stilettos would get stuck in the pitch and she’d fall over. She got told in no uncertain terms to get out of the legends’ team photo.

  • Purely out of morbid interest, and of course understood on the basis of a very low base, is she actually getting better at her job? Ok, she's been told to shut up which has got rid of 90% of the visible problems. Just wondered about the day to day running

Christ I loved Jim Melrose... my first proper hero...

Just the thought of her lauding up all the applause and taking credit is making me want to self harm.

What is it that you imagine she does?
I haven't the first idea beyond negotiate very ludicrous contracts for average players. What is she supposed to do?

There'll be a vacancy soon mate with a full job description if you can hang on a bit

Perhaps they needed someone to spike the pitch at half time...

I think @McBobbin might have a point. Does @McBobbin have to imagine she does something, @Airman Brown? If she does nothing and is just a sinecure, her nil contribution is an improvement on her previous (and unquestionable) negative contribution, you could argue.
  • There were some boos from those that even realised it was her, as had been said they hurried through intros and got on with it. A few of the players had the (I’m assuming) CARD issued Florets on.

I hadn't realised I was handing out cauliflowers.

Why not? He's in good nick for an old 'un......
I met him properly for the first time at the Museum's do on the 5th. He's charming and you can feel his love for the club oozing out of every pore. It will be a very sad day indeed when he shuffles of this mortal coil. May that day be a long time coming.

Someone was telling me on Saturday night that some of the players had trouble getting an invite from the club and I think Jim Melrose was one of them. Don't know if it's true of course, but it's perfectly plausible.

I hope they paid all Clive Mendonca's travel expenses.

Talking of Killer, anyone think there's a striking resemblance to the old lag who's just turned up in Eastenders

    Indeed.
Whose that bloody apologist behind her?
  • She seems to be going grey.
