Really like Billy Bragg and Joe Henry's version of the American standard, In The Pines (a version once covered by Nirvana).

Also, this thread reminded me of Travis doing Baby One More Time! Haven't heard this in ten years until just now. Where the fuck did Travis go? Maybe they went looking for a different musical key.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acULghgYUg0

Norwegian guy called Leo Moracchioli does metal covers of pretty much everything. Has 191 tracks on his YouTube channel. His cover of Adele's Hello is pretty excellent and has had 39 millions views so far

It's funny, I can respect all music to some extent. Even that stuff above, it takes a degree of talent to play the instruments... and to be able to do that with your voice must be an immense challenge. What I will never understand is why anybody listens to it.0

I remember Mark Radcliffe used to have Rick Wakeman as a fairly regular guest on either his late-night Radio One show or when he'd moved over to Radio Two.
On one occasion we were treated to a version of Eleanor Rigby in the style of Rachminov. Quality0
