    Fosu now, from Clarke, into their half, holds it up, finds Pearce. Back to Kashi, now Pearce strides out of defence, to Fosu but they clear. We go long, but Josh was offside. He was sucked into that one.

    They have a throw in our half, Leonard takes. Pearce heads away from our box, and then flicked in the air by White, Ranger goes to head but we manage to get it out for a corner.

    Near post corner, Leonard heads over. Great chance to them, wasted. They've had a couple of half chances and then this one. We haven't had much beyond a threatening attitude.

    Amos goal kick goes long, they clear. JDS takes a throw, to Clarke, finds JDS and he takes his man on, wins a throw. Holmes to Fosu finds Josh, to Fosu who crosses but they clear with Ferdinand.

    Clarke to JDS, inside to Kashi, out to Solly and Bauer, now Solly on the wing, looks for JDS but they clear. Ranger is tackled by Kashi and the ref gives a free kick which seems harsh.

    They have it at the back, go long to Timlin but we win it back. Pearce to JDS, out wide to JFC and it's a poor ball back and Southend break, Kightly chips it in but Solly heads it, back to Kightly, Pearce gets in there and corner to them.

    Corner to Southend. Taken by Kightly, outswinger on his right. In it comes to Ranger, he heads it but it loops over the bar.

    Holmes gets it from the goal kick, but they swarm him. Throw to us. Clarke to Solly, looks for Pearce, into the centre. He finds JDS on the wing, to Fosu, cuts to the box and tees up Clarke, crosses... Mag is stopped by Ferdinand. Cleared. Kashi now, swings it in but Cox intercepts. Back to Clarke, finds Mag... oh they clear.

    Good pressure by us there.

    Pearce to Clarke, infield to Kashi, looks for help and finds Solly on the right. But behind him. Fosu now, nice touch and cleared by Hendry. Cox up top, dives, Ranger picks it up on the attack, commentator is so confused we had some silence there. He is really bemused. I think it went up in the air and the ball span. I don;t bloody know, he's lost me.
