45+2' Charlton win a corner and the referee blows for half-time. Cheers, ref

I think they were booing the ref more than anything.
  • Lack of goal scorer could cost us this season, we will create a lot of chances with Holmes, Marshall, Clarke, reeves, fosu but we need a clinical finisher.

They all need to contribute with goals, not so much about the striker it's the team that need to take chances.

Even if we have a 20 goal striker (I don't think it's impossible for Magennis to get there) that's a minimum of 50 goals that need to come from elsewhere.

Interesting first half against a team of giants. Plymouth targeting Solly and Da Silva with limited success. Amos distribution poor and decision making questionable - but has bailed us out of a few long balls running through.

Kashi trying to do too much and giving the ball away occasionally. JFK looking tidy, Clarke inventive. Da Silva, Holmes, Fosu and Clarke all good going forward but with often poor final ball. Magennis needs to be more clinical but the service needs to be more consistent as well. Good 1v1 with keeper saved and two cleared off the line.

Ref poor for both teams. Allowed Plymouth to take a free kick for offside 15 yards into the Charlton half...

We've pushed up high in the first half - need to be careful not caught on the break. Should get opportunities for the win in the second half as Plymouth slow down. #COYR

A gentle reminder should have been sufficient.

HT: Argyle 0 Charlton 0 An entertaining first half with chances for both sides. Charlton look confident but Argyle have matched them #pafc
  • I bet Phillips is sat there thinking wtf has he got to do to get in this team? Amos sounds very shaky in the two games so far...

Gary Sawyer getting forward well from his left-back position for Argyle and getting in some threatening crosses #pafc

Ok let's refrain from mentioning Prem scores.

But let's be fair - you can't blame anybody for revelling in Palace's pain.

Clearly Plymouth have sussed us out a bit and come more into the game. they start the second half with hope, kicking towards their home end.
Goes without saying we have to be very strong just after half time.

Chances for both sides. Big Mag could've done better with one header, forced a decent save from a tightish angle and was denied a tap in by a great save. We've had plenty of the ball but final ball has been a bit off target so far, Plymouth dealing with us better as the half wore on. Not looking entirely solid at the back but I bunk we'll get there. Most of their play coming down Solly's side.
