I wonder what he'll say about player signings. Same old same old.
"It's got to be the right kind of player for Charlton" "We've had a couple that we've just not been able to get over the line" "I'm really disappointed with the way certain clubs and individuals have conducted themselves" "I've had a lot of support from the president and CEO" "Rather than rashly signing new, better players, sometimes it's better to start the season with a team made up of inexperienced youth teamers with a smattering of past-it has beens"
There'll be a power surge across the country as millions of listeners simultaneously shout "wtf is this scouse tosser talking about?!" and then switch off their radios.
When asked about the number of players he'll want it'll be like the joke...
Kid goes to his Dad: Can I have £20 please? - Dad responds with: £20 you want £20, why on earth do you want £10...? - £5 is far too much money, have a £1 and share it with your sister
Instead it'll be
Presenter: Are you looking to sign some new players still? - Robinson: Yeah I'm looking to get four over the line, we're currently talking with about three players and reckon we'll have two by the time the window closes, am happy with the size of my squad though so doubt we'll sign anyone

OK. Big shame for the lad, but Marshall is parked alongside Page for now and out of the equation. If 'the board' is supportive this is a perfect opportunity to show it.

Let's not be too quick to start slagging him off
Hope those rose tinted glasses are keeping the sun out. Oh, and you're enjoying your calendar.
If it goes bent this season, then he may need their employment.
Bollox we are cursed with injuries
If 'the board' is supportive this is a perfect opportunity to show it.
Injuries in pre season have occurred and will occur in the future.
Terry Naylor and Jerome Thomas both with broken bones in previous pre seasons
But now ?
Neither are fans of the men/ladies in the middle or with the flags!
