Not madness. Their defense was their weak point and now they might have the best in the PL. Winning a title is worth a lot more than £100M. It was a rational investment. For them. Although I still think it is a mad fee. I see this one as more justifiable than say the Kyle Walker fee. At least Mbappe has the potential to be of a Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar level.
