Charlton boss Karl Robinson said: “We have been looking for a striker that can complement what we already have.
“We have a big number nine in Josh Magennis and Joe gives us something different. I think fans will like him, he is quick, can stretch the game and get in behind defenders.
“It has been a really pleasing summer for us in terms of the quality we’ve been able to add to the squad and the players we’ve been able to retain. I think everyone will have seen the talent some of our new signings have and we still have Mark Marshall and a fully fit Ben Reeves to come back in – two of the best players in the division last season.
“It has been a busy few days and our focus is now very much on Oldham Athletic this weekend.”
Rangers striker Joe Dodoo has joined Charlton on loan until January.
If this is true, and he is replacing Novak then that is the worst piece of transfer business EVER. I don't rate Novak, but anything would be better than a player who's only played 25 league games in his life.
Sorry to hear you're having such a miserable evening, Golfie.
We've still got time to sell Konsa. That'll cheer you up.
Charlton Athletic have signed Rangers striker Joe Dodoo on loan until the January transfer window.
Addicks manager Karl Robinson has moved to add to his frontline with Lee Novak expected to wrap up a permanent switch to Scunthorpe United.
Ghana-born Dodoo, 22, started his career at Leicester City and has been capped at under-18 level by England.
He signed a four-year deal with Rangers in July 2016.

One bloody goal in four years!
If I was KAG I would be royally pissed off if Dadoo gets in ahead of him.

Trying to work out where my whelm may be.
It looks to me like we've brought in a loan striker who is not exactly prolific in a league to which we had loaned one of our youngsters last season.
Tight arse fuckers. Madness.
Dodoo for Novak is not smart.
An inexperienced kid at this level
I'll go somewhere else
