Head says that we have more chance of being taken over by aliens from the planet Zarg third on the left in the Plexus Nebula!
Heart says, seeing Daisy Dipshit adiosed out of the gaff by her earhole... well, let's just say, where's the s/t form for my whole family?
Well, on the forum "whose name shall not be mentioned" they are suggesting that Zarg have in fact been in talks since early April. They have even been seen at The Valley testing the water so to speak....but were singularly unimpressed with the ongoing pot hole situation and this has evidently been a major stumbling block, with seemingly no resolution in sight.
Have they got confused with the company that's testing for Legionella before the season starts .. easy mistake. Takeover, water testing

Am I missing something? As far as I can see it doesn't suggest anything at all to do with a takeover, just a review of transfer dealings.
Still, I've clicked on that link half a dozen times now thinking I might see something different. As Mrkinski says, it's the hope that kills you.
I'm just going by the Voice cover strapline "Something's coming...", and the phrase "Of course, there might be a bit more to this issue than that..." in the supporting promo story: http://www.votvonline.com/ . Seems deliberately provocative/suggestive to me.

I think the VotV is going to announce that it's gone pro-regime.

Seen a picture on Twitter and the cover is revealing that an Aussie billionaire behind the group is Andrew Muir, other than that it doesn't say much other than interest has continued and at one point they were close but now it's unsure.

Buy yourself an English football club. That's the way to do it.
He's on the board at Essendon
