From a first 11 perspective the back 5 just needs 1 centre back, it's almost the complete midfield and strike force that worries me and thats before you get to 'squad' players.
Did really like him and thought he could do well for us. Seen a couple of good performances and one really good goal but it is clear he doesn't really 'fancy' it and we all know that he is NOT a 'Charlton' player! I don't think Chris Powell would have touched him with the proverbial 'barge pole!!' I think the sooner her goes the better now, for all concerned.
Wasn't his biggest fan even from the start. Great talent but was too selfish. He is now nowhere near the level he was then but nevertheless has looked pretty committed to me in the matches previous to last Tuesday.
That's why I can't understand why it was so bad? (although the rest of the team were nearly just as shocking also).
i think you can accomodate one or two non Charlton players, if they have the ability. Watt has shown he has that, but something is definitely wrong. We can only speculate what that might be, but this is not the same player we had in his first spell at the club!
Interesting to see if him and Tex are with us next year. Ditto Kashi, Igor, Ceballos, Lennon and Ajose. Would like Rudd and Mavididi back but none of the others. I expect the 3 young forwards to play more of a part, surprised if Barnes, Djiksteel and Lapslie don't and a fit Archie Edwards will get his mojo back and feature although decent Chicksen not favoured by KR and can't believe we paid £400k for Page. But then Gobbo wants 10 in, so expect more to go. Hope JJ retires to become #2.
The current list and what I reckon;
1. Declan Rudd - Return to parent 2. Lewis Page - will be here 3. Adam Chicken - will be here 4. Johnnie Jackson - Player Coach 5. Patrick Bauer - Sold 6. Roger Johnson - effectively left the building already 7. Tony Watt - sold 8. Andrew Crofts - released 9. Josh Magennis - 50/50 if stay or sold, gut feel sold. 11. Ricky Holmes - Sold, Sheff Utd 12. Stephy Mavididi - Won't return 13. Dillon Phillips - 1st Choice keeper, stays 14. Jordan Botaka - Return to parent 15. Ezri Konsa - sold 16. Jason Pearce - will be here 17. Fredrik Ulvestad - return to parent 18. Karlan Ahearne-Grant - stay 19. Jake Forster-Caskey - stay, unfortunately 20. Chris Solly - stay 21. Nathan Byrne - return to parent 25. Ahmed Kashi -m never coming back, released 26. Harry Lennon - sold/released 27. Dimitar Bitov - stay 30. Lee Novak - sold 32. Joe Aribo - stay, will be sold in January 35. George Lapse - stay 36. Jay Dasilva - return to parent 42. Jordan Beeney - stay 50. Jorge Teixeira - sold
Coming in, will be a load of free's, a few loans and about 3 money paid for.
So minus loanees :
2. Lewis Page - will be here 3. Adam Chicken - will be here 4. Johnnie Jackson - Player Coach 5. Patrick Bauer - Sold 6. Roger Johnson - effectively left the building already 7. Tony Watt - sold 8. Can someone confirm which of the above have contracts after 2017?

No chance of selling Novak. He's had a totally useless season and I understand that we offered him far more money than other clubs did in order to secure him. Crap season and high wages do not make for a saleable asset.
I do wonder if this coming summer might be the season we finally lose Chris Solly. He's played enough games post-injury now that you'd imagine the whole 'would never pass a medical' thing might not be quite as accurate and he must be sick that he's spent so much of a promising career sliding down the leagues under the Roland regime. I wouldn't blame him if he walked
So something like this based on current contracts/releases already confirmed since 1st Feb.

Not the most comforting reading, may be a decent L2 side in there
Seemed to me our best performance/effort for some time especially Josh was without Watt playing on Saturday if injury free lets keep the same starting line up.
By my reckoning Watt was tweeting at 12.30 am. Good to see he's having a good night's sleep before a midday kick off.
Or is he not in the squad and will this be the last we see of him?
Well as Gobby announced his team, tactics and what he had for thirds at dinner two days ago, I suspect there were a few of the team watching that fight last night.
I like Tony Watt. He gets a fair bit of stick but anyone who follows him on Twitter will see that he soons shuts people up when they start crossing a line.

No wins, 2 draws, 3 defeats and 3 goals scored by us (one by him) in the previous 5 games he played in.
Wonder if that is a total coincidence.
