  • Umerah on loan at Kilmarnock for rest of the season. Sounds like a good move. What strikers are we left with? Watt, Novak, malvididi (+mag when back). Who's the next young gun to step up?

    Hackett-Fairchild.
    Get In there

If we sign him I'll get his full name and date of birth tattoo'd on my old chap chicken out and make a small donation to the upbeats to make up for it.

I'd probably retract that if I were you... I made a promise like this and ended up having to get "Oluwatobi Fabian Shobowale Akintunde "Tobi" Sho-Silva" tattooed on mine when he signed his first pro contract
  • Gentlemen, can we remember ladies also read this site.

    Agree Henry. I'm very offended.

    Bolton sign Le Fondre.

Shock all teams around us spending a bit and tryna push on . We sign a kid with no first team experience at all to save money.

    Fuck off Roland you shithouse

Spot on. If Robbo phoned him later and said really want so and so at 500000 he would tell him to go one as he is far too expensive but get yourself another loanee. Shit stain of the highest order.

We are anticipating a Marquee signing in the window !

Not a Window in the Marquee
  • Our marquee signing has moved clubs mate. He's gone to Swindon so we only have to pay 60% of his wages.

  • It's all gone quiet.
Do you reckon we're done now and I can watch old 'Allo 'Allo episodes to practice my French?

What do you think Louis, Olly and Rich Cawley et al?
Anything else going to happen tonight?

  • I can't see anything else happening, it's all done on the cheap as usual, we're now more likely to slip down the table than up it in my view, we're a couple of injuries away from disaster.

    You're a happy little soul.

We're SO crap at this transfer window deadline. Same mistakes, year on year. £11m in the bank. 6 points off the playoffs with a game in hand. Leave it until next year and we'll be fighting relegation.

Alternatively, hopefully Duchatelet is keeping the dough to p*** off very soon.

Would not be released unless other Josh was close to return.
You ae assuming rationality has anything to do with our transfer dealings.
  • Doesn't Richard Cawley usually pipe up at around this point and say something along the lines of " Charltons business is done for this window"

On the basis he hasn't I'm still fully expecting another in.

He's cheap so ideal for Charlton

Not to mention young and completely inexperienced. Basically, the sort of player you should be going for if you're on Shrewsbury Town's budget and aspirations, not the sort of player you'd bring in if you were trying to "build a squad capable of challenging for promotion" (Quote K Meire, April 2016).
I liken our transfer policy to my clothes shopping. Occasionally I will go out and spend £100 plus on a pair of jeans because I know it's the right thing to do if you want quality and have any chance of looking the part, but most of the time I'll be skulking round the t-shirt racks of tk maxx buying £15 dodgy brand name shirts that don't fit me properly, just because I'm trying to save money. I convince myself I look okay, but then I go out with it on and feel uncomfortable compared to all my mates who have better fitted attire and look trendy.

I just look like a c*** with ill fitting clothing and have to get hammered to forget my miserable presence.

Something similar is happening at se7
Love that.....only because you've just described my own shopping habits!
£100 for a pair of jeans.

Get yourself down to Gunwharf Quays @ Portsmouth for a lot cheaper.
