  • KR: "...before we head into January, we might have a superstar here that we can unveil that will save us having to bring someone in, rather than having to spend money..."

Is he fully immersed in the fetid, deceitful morass of roly's toxic pantomime and is this quote a massive middle finger to we fans?

    OR

is he an utterly gullible ingenue, still blissfully unaware of even the faintest glimmer of the truth of roly's odious project?

On what planet and after taking what drugs would any sentient organism believe that any emerging talent won't be sold at the first whiff of Any Other Club's cheque book?

Robinson is one of 2 things: a complacent moron, or a mendacious toady supping greedily at the rancid teat of roly's toxic project smug in the knowledge he'll be dispatched after 20 odd games anyway so slavishly trots out the scripted lines/lies he's handed.
Neither is in the candidate specification for a successful professional football team manager.
There's a pithy monosyllabic epithet for the likes of him.
  • What's happened to Terrell Thomas?

He seemed a highly rated youngster not so long ago.
  • Phillips
    Foley Konsa Lennon Fox
    Aribo Jackson Charles-Cook Lookman
    Hanlan Novak

I reckon something like this, would prefer Umerah instead of Hanlan.
  • 3-0 Charlton

If MK Dons win, will they disown the victory just to stop a south London team from whining ? They haev a history of that with there FA cup wins.

Think he went out on loan somewhere but might have ended by now.
  • 0-3 Honeymoon over, Karl Robinson replaced by Jim Robinson for Saturday. Jim walks out after another defeat leaving Bouncer heading up the dugout for a surprise 6-0 victory at the Den. Great times.

Still plays fairly regularly for the U-23s but doesn't seem to be anywhere near the first team. The little bit I've seen of him, he's looked solid at youth level but hasn't blown me away. The queue at CB is quite long. Will leave it to those who watch the yoot regularly to comment further.

My revised team, given Fox and Ajose may both be out ill:
    Phillips
    Konsa...Tex....Lennon....Chicksen
    Botaka.....Foley....JJ....Aribo
    ......Novak....Hanlan

I know Robinson said he'd change 8, but I think further illness might force his hand a bit. I have him changing 6 here, mostly because of Ajose and Fox being out. I could see us potentially going 4-3-3 and bringing in KAG (instead of Novak or Botaka), and that might even allow Aribo to play a little further forward.

Also, just gonna ask this again, is this on telly anywhere...?

Ask KM what channel RD is watching it on
  • Foley and JJ in the middle is a recipe for disaster. My team for tonight.

    Phillips
    Foley, Konsa, Texeira, Chicksen
    Charles-Cook, Aribo, Jackson, Botaka
    Hanlon, Novak

Subs Beeney, Johnson, Lennon, Ahearne-Grant, Umerah, two other subs I have no idea.

I cant help but read his interview notes with a scouse accent in my head
  • The only way I would care about tonights games ,is if I was playing up top.

    Er, I'm not, BTW.
  • I maybe reading too much into it but I thought he implied a 433. Can't find where I got it from though.

    If so I'd have

    Umerah Novak Hanlan
    Aribo
    Jackson Charles-Cook
    Chicksen Lennon Tex Konsa
    Phillips

Beeney Johnson Foley KAG lookman Ajose Botaka

Lennon is injured. Ajose is also out.Source OT
  • I believe Terrell Thomas is back at Woking, and they rate him very highly. Surprised he didn't loan to L1 or L2.

Replace Jackson with Crofts... swap Lookman with Hanlan replacing the latter with Ulvestad and thats not a bad team

Cat got your tongue, Henry? Never thought I'd see you lost for words.
  • To be fair, that's quite professional and gives the sponsors a bit of air time.
  • As I see it. The compete injured/banned/rested list is as follows.

    Pearce
    Bauer
    Solly
    Rudd
    Holmes
    Kashi
    Ulvestad
    Crofts
    Magennis
    Ajose

Ba played for u23s today so unlikely to start tomorrow.

    So something like

    Umerah Novak Hanlan
    ...............Aribo
    .....Jacko Charles-Cook
    Chicksen Tex Konsa Foley
    ..............Phillips.

I'll have a tenner on the injured ten please.
  • Attack, Attack
    Attack, Attack, Attack

    0 - 0 after 120 mins

    Charlton win 4 - 3 on pens
