    We will win.

First time since 1981 that I won't be there = nailed on win.

I'm that confident about it I might even have a bet on it to try to make up for my disappointment - on us!

Me too. I can't remember the last fixture v Millwall I didn't attend. So, I won't say we will win, but I think there's a much better chance than normal.
  • I went into work this AM with every intention of buying one of the 200. I had a feeling all day yesterday that we were going to beat them.

Within 10 mins of sitting at my desk, I did 100% about turn and didn't bother.

    Me too.
  • It's what MrLargo said, it doesn't matter how badly Millwall are playing we are up against a curse. Millwall will get a fortunate goal, we'll be lucky to score at all.
  • Bought my ticket before it was rearranged.

Will be there as I was on 5 December 1995.

    It will snow.

    We will win

    Snow ...no

    Win ...no doubt at all.

Said it before, this is our year, the double is on.

Where you lot going to be boozing before hand then? Might get a few boys down to attack the pub, oops I mean have a couple of friendly pints of ale with you.

With all the domestic in-fighting thats going on you boys might be safer sitting this one out.
Good point. We might just stay in our own pub and beat each other up. That's what we usually do these days.
West Ham are a lot lot better than you at this at the moment.

    Aren't you ashamed?

    Aren't you embarrassed?

This needs to be resolved. And quickly.

Some of you are going to need to give some of you a really good hiding, or live with being second rate. Get the message out there. Now!!!

Argh!!!!! I've just gone and punched my nan in the face ffs!!!!
About time to. Thought you were going soft.
  • He was just biding his time and waiting for her to fall asleep first.

  • I need to be on that 10.15 train to London Bridge after the game in order to get home to Dorset in the early hours. From people's experience is that gonna happen?
How the hell do you get to London Bridge if you miss the train ( doesn't seem to be any others after that one)?

You could get a cab, or even walk to Canada Water (about 20 mins) and get the Jubilee line to London Brigde.

Trains run regularly from South Bermondsey well after 22:15. Unless Southern are on strike of course

7.45ko earliest game will end is 9.30 more like 9.35/9.40, usually been held back for at least 30 mins, depends how much playing up is going on and probably the result a millwall win they might let us go earlier a charlton victory the local unemployed might gather round.

Just booked up. My first trip to the New Den. Can anyone recommend best route from Sidcup. Either train or car? Cheers

Get off a New Cross mate and take a stroll through the Sainsburys and estate. There is a decent pub on route called 'The Rose. It does some decent craft ale.
Seconded. A good pub The Rose and shouldn't have any of our silly lot in, just normal fans. It's New Cross Gate though that's opposite the Rose and next to Sainsbury's. If you get off at New Cross you'll have a bit further to walk but pass another couple of decent pubs, including the nearly refurbed New Cross House which is a superb pub now and The New Cross Inn as well as a couple of other friendly and fairly trendy boozers.

The Rose that used to be called the Hobgoblin? Now that was a pub will a silly lot in it! There are quite a few decent pubs in New Cross.
Used to be called the Rose, got changed to the Hobgoblin for a bit, then back to The Rose. New Cross is fine for a pre match drink. All the nutters drink around Bermondsey mostly these days. Down the blue usually.

On a separate note, who would take a draw now if offered? I would. Really not confident about this one.
Think it'll be a draw anyway...

Millwall always rise to the occasion against us... @MillwallFan says that they're playing shite but wasnt their 2-1 win (Solly got sent off) against us after they'd just lost about 10 games on the trot and ultimately went down?

We're playing better this season but once again we're struggling to score so think the two sides will cancel each other out.

Interesting that there are no other English / Scottish games next Wednesday so maybe it'll be on Kodi?

For our overseas Addicks can anyone see if its Scheduled to be on anywhere?

And there's the walkway now that leads straight from the away end to south Bermondsey station so should be kept in too long.
  • Proper Charlton - train times and Millwall.

It might happen this time I suppose, but I doubt it.
